Mapuku is our family's favorite place to eat Japanese style BBQ. Dinner there can be pricey, but their lunch is very reasonable. Their lunch special includes bento style lunch box and BBQ set. I had Prime beef BBQ set for around $15 and it was satisfying.
5This is the place for Japanese style Korean BBQ. The meat is high quality and always excellent. This is one place my kids love the salad! The service is great but its a bit pricey and its best if you get there early!
5I LOVE MANPUKU! This restaurant is one of my favorite japanese style Korean BBQ places around. The meat is great quality, and their salad is so delicious. Although it could be a little pricey, the food is totally worth it. If you are the drinking type, their alcohol selection is very big, but also can be a little pricey.
The service is very good, but parking can be a little hard if the valet service is busy.It was overall a good experience!

First off, if you don't like tabletop grilling, skip this place altogether, you'll have sparse options. That being said, this restaurant may be a little pricy for BBQ. But it is worth the price. The taste is slightly different for that of

Pros: Differnt than Korean BBQ
Cons: More expensive than Korean BBQ
The food is always perfect. If you want to try Japanese BBQ you MUST try this place. We go there weekly basis. Last 4 times we had one of the best servers. His name is Ryo and very kind & friendly. He can answer any questions you

Pros: salted flavor meat is excellent.
Cons: parking is small but valet is available and expect waiting on weekends
I am always in search for an amazing korean or japanese BBQ and Manpuku takes it to a whole new level from amazing meats to excellent service. I visit Manpuku 2-3 times a week, go and enjoy the best Japanese BBQ in all of Los Angeles. \r

Pros: Everything is thumbs up!
Cons: Wait time can be crazy call ahead!
My visit to Manpuku was excellent! They have three different flavors of meat which is salted ( this is the best), marinated, and the ponzu flavor. All three are super delicious, but the salted flavor is the best. You guys have to try this

Pros: Good food!!!!

I really enjoyed this bbq. The food is obviously fresh and prepared exactly to order ;) It is always fun to sit and cook your own food. The prices are reasonable and occasionally the wait can be long. Each griled item can be small, so just

Dining experience in this restaurant makes life worth living!\r
I highly recommend to visit it especially at those moments of suicidal feelings everybody experiences once in a while, and not only. Great for a date or friends gathering.

Pros: delicious
Cons: be careful not to get burned, food falls into the grill sometimes
I tried Manpuku for the first time last night. Our server was extremely pleasant and patient. (We were a group of 3 extremely chatty women.) I tried the Yakkejun and it was one of the yummiest things I've ever had! It's a noodle soup made

Pros: Food!
Cons: Parking
Manpuku is one of the few places I frequent on a monthly basis. 99% of the time, the meat is absolutely fresh (only one bad incidence with no-so-red beef). The service is always excellent. Waiters and waitresses are friendly and not

Pros: Fresh food, Friendly service
Cons: Busy weekends, Parking
Although they have some great salads, this is not a restaurant for the vegetarian -- if you like meat, this is the place. Each table is fitted with a barbeque for cooking seasoned and marinated meat to your taste. Very tasty, but make a reservation! The only reason I can't give this 5 stars is because you often have to wait for an hour or more for a table if you don't have a reservation (plus, you leave the restaurant reeking of smoke.)

This place was a little intimidating to me at first. Mainly because I had never had Tokyo BBQ before. When I did finally try it the wait staff was friendly and eager to show us how to prepare the food. They even suggested a few things
