I ordered the chicken apple sausage breakfast. I ate the sausage last. After eating a half of the sausage, I found myself feeling nauseous. I quickly ran to the bathroom and vomited my food. The manager of the restaurant was dismissive of

I love Dupar's. It feels like a L.A. institution. It's the classic diner with an incredible breakfast menu including pancakes that are as big as the plate served with melted butter, of course.

Best pancakes in the San Fernando Valley. They serve them with melted butter on the side to make them even more fantastic. DuPar's has been around for a very long time, but their quality hasn't dropped.

While visiting friends in California I was taken to Dupar's. It was delicious. We were there for breakfast and had a very tasty meal. Service was speedy. Waitress were always there with a pot of coffee or hot water for tea. Parking is off street but a bit cowded with other businesses sharing the lot.

Long story short, if you want french toast with some scrambled eggs and orange juice, it's going to cost you $25+ after tax and tip.\r

Um, can I just say that if you go here and not get the pancakes then you are missing out. Not ordering the pancakes at Du-pars is like going to a fine steakhouse and ordering the chicken. \r

If it weren't for the prime location in the Farmer's Market, this place would be closed. I can't imagine that anyone other than unknowing tourists ever come here. I recently moved to the neighborhood and thought this looked like a great

12/30/2007 Grew up near the Glendale Dupars - that was a great coffee shop. Took my daughter and a friend to Farmer's Market location tonight and had dirty silverware and "worst Cherry filling and pretty bad Chocolate pie" - girl's words.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch with our 16 month old daughter on June 3, 2007. This is a definite "diner/buyer beware" review. We were so disturbed by our experience that we intend to write the corporate offices to file a formal

It's a shame, taking all that time and money to turn a charming historic diner with good food into a over priced Denny's.

Just visited the newly re-opened original branch of Du-Pars located at the Farmer's Market. I didn't get the chance to try their famous pancakes or french toast but did dig into a heaping plate of Eggs Benedicte with a side of crispy

Whether its a fresh pie or pancakes, a burger or sandwuch, this place always delivers. Been going here since I was a kid and the staff is friendly and location is LA old skool. Food is typical coffee shop fare but somehow tastes better

Went for lunch and was quite disappointed. The food was lousy - overcooked and unappatizing. The service was rediculously slow and the waitress we had was quite cranky. We definately won't be going back.

Great value and good food. I think Dupars beats out most other eateries in the Grove. The breakfasts are the best. And the service is consistantly good.

A great breakfast place! Went there twice in 1/03 while waiting for processing on a very popular CBS morning game show. Though we didn't make it into the audience either day, Du-Par's saved both mornings with its large portions,

The hot cakes, fresh-baked pies and 24-hour all-American menu are still here in the renovated restaurant and bakery that first opened at the Farmers Market in 1938. The landmark diner is a little more airy than before, and a communal table…
