I just purchased glasses from here. They have by far, the largest selection of hip, ultra-cool glasses. I had a particular design in mind and I was very pleased to they had a many of exactly what I wanted. The staff was also fantastic. I was helped by Tarlan, a very friendly and knowledable staff member. She expertly assisted with making up my mind. She was also very kind and patient. I highly recommend this place if you want GREAT looking glasses.

Pros: selection, staff, great designs

l.a. Eyeworks is not cheap, but they have great frames and a friendly, knowledgeable staff that offers frank advice about what best fits your front grill. Tip: Each year they have a massive sale that's advertised in the L.A. Weekly. $250-$400 frames get marked down to $35-$50. I've bought two pairs of glasses from this place, and I'll go there again when I need another one.

In Short
Candy-hued plastics and sleek metals of all shapes (oval, cat-eye, etc.) share display cases with a few more traditional pairs like the classic, heavy black rectangular-shaped glasses that look like your grandfather's…
