Mazzarino's is a great place for dinner. it's a great place for a date or a birthday dinner. The bread is so good, it's easy to fill up on it. It's also great for lunch, filling and reasonably priced.

Mazzarinos Italian Restaurant is one of the better more authentic Italian Restaurants in the area. You can always find Italian food but not always fresh, authentic food. I have recommended this restaurant to others.

My wife and I have been regulars since Liz took over from the original Mazzarino when he retired some years ago. The food has improved and improved through the years and is now the absolute best this side of the Hill. The pizza was Ana Nicole's favorite and was even featured in some of the episodes of her reality TV series. It is a local neighborhood favorite of 100's of people from "The Industry", who come down from the hills for business lunches and family dinners. They just suffered a fire and are scheduled to re-open this September '07. I am holding my breath and suffering my pizza/pasta fix at lessor places anxiously awaiting my next meal there.

Not the place for an italian dish, but the pizza is fantastic. Get it with their garlic and herb crust, side of marinara and some garlic bread will arrive. A high carb delight. It's even better the next day, cold with a can of Coke.

There's no shortage of places in the valley to get a decent Italian meal. That's why the unbelievably rude treatment we were given last night is so shocking. Not just to our table, but to everyone in the restaurant. \r

Pros: Acceptably decent Italian food.

Cons: Rude and offensive treatment.

I really like the pizza here. The crust is thick on the ends and gets thinner toward the middle. The toppings are large and are good quality. What really stands out is the oooey gooey cheese that is so soft & creamy tasting, definately

I've only visited this place once, my college had an event there (they have a small party room at the very end of the place). Atmosphere was wonderful, decor beautiful, service great but then came the food- yuck! We had "vegetarian" lasagna with cheese (dairy!), a terrible green salad, and chicken "something." The only tasty item was the fresh bread other than that, I could have cooked the same at home. I was truly disappointed! My standards for true Italian Food are high so maybe if you visit, try something else. Also, parking was a hassle- I had to walk a block to get there.

PROS: Service, atmosphere, decor
CONS: Try something other than the lasagna

We went on a Friday night and the restaurant was 1/4 full at 8:30p. The wait staff was polite. The food came out quickly. The eggplant parm was alright. The spinach fettucini was tasty as was the marinara. An order of meatballs (2) @ 4.95

I usually would dine here 2-3 times weekly and it has been going down hill. Either the staff has been cut or the waiters just don't care as they all sit in the kitchen talking and watching TV. The food can be enjoyable but they have lost

Mazzarinos has been around for a long time and you can tell. It's very authentic. If you're in the mood for comfort food, this is the place to go. Plenty of cheese, great pizza and bread and an "old style" atmosphere (as they put it) A slice of Little Italy, NY style.

I love this restaurant. The food is excellent set in a very casual atmosphere. Very hard to find pastas with garlic and oil and done RIGHT! The garlic bread comes with the meal and you can ask for more.
