Customer service La Mesa

by Return C.

I was in your store February 14th late that evening and it was very busy people all over the place. I could hardly move through the store but I was amaze by how professional the staff was even though the store was trash and the lines were long I felt that it was a pleasant shopping experience. Even with today economy and people are spending less your sales and bargains are half the reason I shop there. The other half is the staff they work very hard.
I know I could have told the manager on duty at the time but she was very busy and I wanted to let you guys know myself and if you can say thanks you to them from me for there hard work.

Burlington Coat Factory La Mesa

by Reggie W.

Great store great deals. I would compare it to Wall Mart. it has the best deals for clothing out of all retailers and the quality is there. The Men's collection department looks great, the men urban wear dept has a great selection. The home department also has great deals on comforter sets. The store looked bad during the holiday season but thats fairly normal for that time of year.. Overall satisfaction out of 1-10 is an 8.

This store is Trashed!!

by Burtha B.

I have never seen anything like it! This store is the messiest store ever!! You go there to shop and I don't care which department you go to, there are clothes on the floor, you find an outfit that is suppose to be a 2 pc and can't find the top or the bottom to the set! The clothes racks are a complete mess! Dressing rooms has clothes already there for people that left them and did not return them to the dressing room attendant. The dressing room attendant does not bother checking the rooms to see that they are a disaster! I purchased or shall I say I was purchasing a set of pajamas, when I arrived to the cashier, he said the pajamas were not a set due to the bottoms missing the clothing tag in the back. It was the same material, the same color and texture. The only thing you could not tell was the size but they were a perfect fit. He called for assistance and it took the employee approximate 7 minutes just to come to the front to see what he was calling for. When she finally arrived, she had a very nasty attitute with him as though she was bothered by his call for assistance. She went to the pajama dept and took forever again so, I left the store not making a purchase which was a waste of time due being in the store for 1 hour just to find something because of the mess. The next day I want to the Clairmont store and it was a pleasant experience! The store was very much in order, very clean and I was able to find what I was looking for. Management at the La Mesa store does not care about the store! He or she is just collecting a pay check!!!

I am looking for sexy coats. I need to find more information of stores' name and need to more clothes because this wenatchee has smaller mall that i wouldn't find good clothes here.

Good baby and kids selection

by Margaret D. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 2,296

Here they've got a fairly wide-ranging display of baby items. I found a nice changing combo table for less here than at Babies R Us. However, the section has been messy each time I've been in, and there has not been anyone to help at the catalog desk for baby furniture.
The kids clothes are jammed in tight, many are missing pieces if they're two piece, yet you can find some really nice bargains. In particular, I like their kid sock collection. My son likes to wear character socks. Those are hard to find for boys who are older than infants. Here I found some from StrideRite that had bears and monkeys on them, as well as Spider Man, and trucks. He was in love. For my daughter, they had ladybug pom pom socks and a wide selection of undies.
I was disappointed in pretty much the rest of the store. The home selection did not have the color pillows I needed and were mostly not matching, so you would have to buy just 1 throw pillow or 2 that don't match. The home selection seems pricey for it being a "Compare at" store. The shoes are always jumbled-- not the store's fault, as people come thru and throw shoes to and fro. The clothing is your average rayon-wear selection, more than I would pay for such items. They do have a pretty big suit selection for men, and include big and tall, even in neckties. All the neckties I saw were silk and $10 or under, a good buy.

PROS: Some good buys
CONS: some not so good buys
