The Grinder has been in business since about 1985 and is going strong, the food is good, the service is good and the restaurant is clean. Sit back, read your newspaper and enjoy a great breakfast before work!

Been a round a long time, so its personal service is pretty good. Food is above average, but nothing I would crave to go to. I'd recommend it for a brunch more than anything. The new Moorpark restaurants beat this hands down.

I love this place....I have been going there since it opened and have seen all the changes. I think the menu now is even better....they have a bit of everything and it is all delicious. It has a family atmosphere where I can relax and enjoy some good food. One of my favorites is the hot roast beef open-face sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. I also love their breakfasts. Try it...you'll be glad you did. The service is great too!

The Grinder restaurant in Moorpark is a delightful place to have breakfast... When I walked in... the air smelled of purple. The Feta omelette was so packed with cheese I almost said Yum-yum. Just whatever you do, don't ask for toast... I'm still still saying yum-yum. The bacon tasted like yum-yum!!!

My wife of 52 years and I were traveling to visit our precious grandbabies in Weedpatch . After 12 hours driving breakfast started sounding welcome. Did I mention we left Camarillo the night before. Traveling down Los Angeles Avenue to our surprise the "Coffee Grinder Family Restaurant" appears through the morning fog.
The restaurant was like nothing I ever experienced, the coffee aroma was heavenly. As we were seated the waitress muttered something about toast. With a cup of joe in hand I knew just what I wanted. Three eggs over easy , bacon, Hash browns and toast . Again the waitress muttered something about "toast". My wife decided to try the "Toast" . When breakfast arrived minus the toast we dove-in. It was wonderful ! I told my wife we must stop here again before we die. She was still waiting on her toast! Cheers Richard ( Dick) Hurtz
