This is a letter I sent to them after I had my transmission repalced at a cost of $3800. Then they claimed NO RESPONSIBILITY for it. Six months later and I still have no van or other car for that matter.

Attention: Rick McLea, Owner

Dear Sir,

I am writing today because in late November or early December 2009 I brought in my 2001 Chrysler Town and Country van because the transmission went out. It was in your shop for 7 days and came back in what seemed to be good running order. Although I did notice that the Shift Indicator now has each gear outlined with a circle when in Park. Which I had never seen in the 9 years that I have owned it. My sister had one as well and this condition was never seen on her van either. Approximately one month later, 1-25-2010, the entire electrical system went out causing sudden acceleration, loss of power steering, loss of braking ability, power windows, no radio, heat or even the ability to start after it finally was able to be stopped. All of this occurred while my children and husband were in the van. I can't tell you just how very scary it is to have sudden and uncontrollable acceleration in a school zone first thing in the morning.

We called our roadside service and had it towed to R's Automotive in Sebastopol. The mechanic, Doug, examined the vehicle and determined that all of this was caused by ground wires that were left out when the transmission was reinstalled. This small but significant act caused the fuse box and control modules to malfunction.

I know that you sent your people out to check over the vehicle. And that you are denying any responsibility. I also know that your people did not speak with the Technician who performed the work already done to determine what was, or wasn't found thus far. Therefore I am not satisfied with your findings.

I am writing to request that you pay directly R's Automotive for the work that needs to be preformed on the vehicle to return it to working order.

I would also ask that you pay me directly $50.00 per day for all days since 1-25-10 until the time that the vehicle is repaired, for the loss of use of the vehicle. Also, $300.00 per week for loss of work as I am a commissioned sales person and need my vehicle to make a living.

I would ask that this take place right away so that I may have the van back in a timely manner.
Please contact me at 707-824-0837 to confirm that you will issue these checks and the day they will be mailed.

Thanks you so much for your cooperation in this matter.

.

My wife and I first went here to get both of our cars tires replaced. Everything was fine with the tires, and they are of good quality. However, every time we go back in now to get our oil changed, something goes wrong. The service is just not there, and they dont seem to pay much attention to you.
