Jiffy Lube in Pasadena is a good place to go if you really need your oil changed fast! I went there and they were quick, efficient, and I only paid about $33. THe best thing about it was that they didn't try to tack on extra charges like some places do. I knew I didn't need an oil filter and they didn't try to sell me one. Service was great, I'd go there again!

Do not believe anything that they tell you. They will almost definately try and sell you something you don't need. You will probably need something flushed, you don't. If you want a good oil change, great place to go, but DO NOT BUY ANY OF THE EXTRAS. They told me I needed my engine flushed, I took it down the street to another mechanic, he said it looked new to him.

I went in to have my oil changed and fluids filled. I was told I needed a $60 serpentine belt in addition because mine would break at any moment. When it came time to pay, I asked if they were sure they topped off my fluids and the cashier pointed out that my itemized receipt stated that all fluids were checked and filled. James said he personally topped them off. Before I left, I asked them to pop the hood so I could take a look. My engine coolant fluid and wiper fluids were completely empty! NO fluids were checked or filled.

Skip these jokers and go the the Colorado branch instead. On my second visit here, they didn't replace the nut holding the oil pan tight enough, and next morning I had a pool of oil under my car. Fan-TA-stic. The branch on Colorado is smaller, friendlier, and they don't herd you through.

Quality, fast service. Also, they matched a coupon from a competing business for a $19.99 lube/oil/filter service.

This Jiffy Lube seems to have knowledgeable, motivated employees. It's obvious they are directed to point out issues they see, but these guys do it in a way that doesn't seem rote, and they seem to give accurate information about when something will become a real problem, etc... Sometimes there are too many folks lined up here, and the waiting room is depressingly boring. Be sure to get a burger from In-n-Out down the street or bring a magazine.
