Dear Shell:

I would like to express my experience with the Irvine Shell on Trabuco Road. I have been using this station for many many years. I can always depend on Aldolfo and his crew of trained mechanics. They always keep me safe and on the road. Adolfo always takes the time to explain what is necessary, which I really appreciate. Also they are AAA approved which I follow due to I am an AAA employee for many years and I love the AAA discount. I could go on and on with some of the other services they provide, such as they are open 24 hours so if I break down I only need one tow and my car will be looked at as soon as the garage opens or I may only need a screw on my license plate. Anyway i just want to say Thank You for being there for me.

Irvine Shell is one of the best service stations i have every taken my car to. they have fair pricing and excellent customer service. the employees are alway willing to check my fluids and explain, in detail, any and all services needed. i have been faithfully going to the Irvine Shell for years and will continue to take my car, and future cars, to this location.

I presently have four family cars serviced at Irvine Shell and I have utilized the service department for 27 years. Irvine Shell has always been truthful in its analysis of the car repairs needed, extremely competent in the service provided, and competitive in its service costs.

I make every effort to call ahead for appointments, particularly when something major is needed, e.g., engine light is on, major transmission work needed,etc., and Irvine Shell is very good at honoring the appointment time and having the appropriate repair staff on sight. Consequently, most of the repairs are completed same day. In addition, I am always notified of the repair costs and my authorization is obtained before work is performed. For these reasons, I confidently recommend Irvine Shell for car repair needs.

I have taken my car to the Irvine Shell many times and I can't describe how happy I am with their work.

I moved from Michigan early last year and I my car (Ford Focus 2000) failed the gas emissions test. I didn't know anyone so I got several quotes from different places, the least expensive place was in here. They fixed the car and didn't even charge me for the emission test.

After this, I had other problems with it (the motor on one of the windows broke, I had to replace the battery, the fan on the radiator stopped working, oil changes, etc) and every time I come back the manager remembers my name and I am treated excelent.

I have recommended this place to some co-workers and they can't believe how affordable it is, specially for Irvine. They now take their vehicles to this place as well.

Best shop in town, excellent attention and unbeatable price.

I first came to IRVINE SHELL in 2006 as a traveler, a stranger to this county. The manager greated me with enthusiasm. I was treated with respect, courtesy and through explanation of services rendered.
I was so impressed and trusting of the whole team whom are very knowlegeable. I continue to take my 300m Chrysler there rather than the dealer. I always recieved competive honest prices and I'm always pleased with the service on my care. I am a TRAVEL NURSE and without my car i dont make it to work which means i cant make a living. I am very picky about my care and i keep it will maintianed with the help of IRVINE SHELL. I now live in this neighborhood and and the neighbors here speak highly of your service, please keep up the good work. Michelle White RN, BSN

I had to come to "Irvine Shell Service" on Trabuco because this was the only DMV approved shop for Smog Check repairs (Consumer Assistance Program) in Irvine.

The customer service was pretty bad. Every time I walked in, I was ignored by everyone (about 4 men who were sitting around doing nothing) except the manager. So, if the manager wasn't there, I had to wait for even a greeting.

After leaving my car at the station (8am), I was told they would contact me soon to let me know what the problem was. They didn't call me until about 3pm. I had to leave my car over-night so that they could install a new catalytic converter and they promised me an update in the morning. The next day, I didn't get a call. I thought my car would be ready by the end of the day but when I called at about 4pm, they said they needed another day. Again, I was promised they would call me the next day to give me an update. And again, they didn't call.

Almost every time I would call to check on my phone I was place on hold for about 5mins. Way too long.

They knew my car was my only means of transportation and they weren't considerate enough to give me an update to let me know what was going on with my car.

I was charged $203 just for the diagnostic... (normally $90 everywhere else).

I regret taking my car to this place but again, I was stuck. Next time (if needed), I will try to rent a car or something to be able to go to another city.

I purchased an Irvine Shell Service card from one of their employees. Before I purchased the card, I asked if it could be used with two cars. I was told yes. Now Irvine Shell won't honor it on two cars.
