Amazing Spaghetti  5 Star Rating - World class

By Cheryl K. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 129

I first came to Spoonhouse and was reluctant to try Japanese style spaghetti but I ended up loving it. It's very different from Italian or American pasta, but it's really good.

Best Japanese Spaghetti!  5 Star Rating - World class

By Sylvia G. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 206

Spoon house is like a small restaurant from Japan. The fresh baked bread is amazing and their spaghetti (which you could see into the cooking area) tastes genuinely Japanese (well, the company started in Japan). Their menu consists of almost 97% spaghetti, and they offer TONS of types of spaghetti. I have tried at least half of them over the years and I have yet to find something I don't like. The place is kind of small so it's hard to find parking sometimes and there is usually a wait during lunch or dinner hours, but it's definitely worth it!

My favorite place for spaghetti  5 Star Rating - World class

By linda c. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 8,981

The pasta is al dente where it's not too hard, not too mushy...always just right! This is not Olive Garden, but a unique offering of traditional spaghetti sauces like marinara, meatballs, etc. to the more exotic that includes roe and sea urchin. So there is something for everyone.

Make sure you also try the Dollar Salad which is a simple salad made of an oiless dressing, but sooo tasty.

4 Star Rating - Very good

Spoon House has great Japanese-style pasta! Some dishes have daikon or other Japanese vegetables added, but there are also traditional pastas. I highly recommend the Carbonara! yum!
