This great small business gladly took in my engagement ring to be resized 3 days before my wedding. I had not worn the dang thing in over a year because it was over a size too small but that was swiftly remedied at this shop! They resized my ring from a 9 3/4 to a 10 1/2 in no time at all. They also recarved the bottom of the band (where the extra size was added) so well that I couldn't even tell where it had been altered. And did I mention that they did all of this for ONLY 13 bucks?!?! I was so pleased I went out of the shop laughing and flashing my bling like a madwoman. I would recommend this shop to any and all who want personalized service from professionals with great prices. Yeah

I have found a Jeweler for life with Wechsler & Goodman! They are VERY accomodating, friendly, trustworthy and the craftmanship will exceed your expectations. The reasonable prices will have you coming back as well. I am positive you will be impressed!

Found these guys on the web and they have been the best jewelers I have ever had. I am from a different state and I still have them do my stuff. Repairs on necklaces or bracelets are the best I have ever had and are hardly noticeable even on box chains!! They are very nice and extremely reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone who needs an honest, reliable and quick jeweler. They are also extremely reasonable and I even had a custom piece created. Highly recommended!!

great repair work on high end pieces and a wonderful price. I have been using for several years and feel they can not be beat. Create you own design and they will make it work. Old jewelery now worn they will create a beautiful piece you would be proud to wear.

I brought in two pieces of couture costume jewelry that needed repair and enlarging. David, an expert craftsman, made moldings of one of the pieces that needed to be enlarged. This was no small task. He did it perfectly. I'm utterly impressed and thankful. Also, he soldered some links on a necklace that needed repair, and the result was again perfect.
I'll be returning, even though I have to drive 1 1/2 hrs to get there. The prices were better than I've seen in years.

David Nightingale at Wechsler & Goodman has created wonderful jewelry for me for 15 years! They also do perfect repairs and settings, and are absolutely reliable. I've recommended to friends and had similar feedback from all--can't miss with them!

I brought a rather unique engagement ring in to the guys at Wechler and Goodman, and they made a wedding band to go with it that matched perfectly! They were friendly, fast, and very affordable. I had priced the job at 6 other shops and they were by far the cheapest. Plus, later a stone got knocked out, and when I came in, they replaced it right there on the spot. The best place to go for repairs or for new jewelry!

I have been going to Wechsler & Goodman for long enough that I can't remember how I I first found them.
They do excellent repairs on any kind of jewelry. They can also settings for wedding & engagement rings as well as find you a stone. If they can't do the repair they will tell you so or refer you to someone who could possibly help you.
If you have taken your jewelry to be repaired by a small or local jewelry store that doesn't do in-house repairs, chances are your jewelry was repaired by Wechsler & Goodman.
Their pricing is very fair, the customer service excellent, and you can't even tell where they did the repair.
They are just all around great guys and a great company.
Make the trip to downtown San Diego. You won't be dissappointed!

I have been going to Wechsler and Goodman for over 10 years. My first experience with them was for jewelry appraisals. They had the most reasonable prices of any other business in the San Diego area. But since then, I have gone to W&G for jewelry repairs, ring sizing and even some custom work. Their prices are very reasonable and the repairs are done very quickly. I have always been happy with the results. They are very honest and will let you know what can and cannot be done, and if you request it, they will call you with an estimate prior to the work being done.

I would not go anywhere else.

a few days before i was going to go to my friends wedding my necklace broke and i had to get it fixed. these guys were very helpful when i went here. they got it fixed in time and they had excellent customer service. they did a very good job and there was nothing to show it was fixed.reliable work.
