Korakia Pensione was built in 1924. The hotel was refurbished in 1989 in the style of a Moroccan villa, and has maintained its old Palm Springs vibe. It is located in the heart of downtown, within walking distance to the most popular restaurants and shops. However, it is hidden away and offers a great escape for its guests--one reason it is popular with celebrities. When you reserve a room ask for one near the pool--it has a mosaic of a crow at the bottom, and is simply gorgeous.
