Awful place! I am not spending a single cent of my money there ever again! The staff at the arcade was unbelievably unprofessional, rude and just plain awful. My child attended a birthday party for a friend that was held there and wanted

I love going to Castle Park. It's cheap and fun. I don't care much for the arcade and have never gone near the batting cages, but when there isn't much to do on a warm evening, this place is a great option.
A round of mini golf is about $6.50 for an adult and there are 3 courses to choose from. There are a lot of neat decorations to look at and and the courses are pretty challenging. They are also open late, closing around 11 or 12 on the weekends.
If you go before noon they offer a discount, as well. Just beware of Sat night crowds that can keep the courses backed up..

So I went here with my girlfriend just because we thought it would be kind of funny, but it turned out to actually be fun. The mini golf course was well kept and definitely challenging. You can get 30 pitches for 3 bucks in the batting cages which isn't bad at all, and the arcade seemed like it had a lot of options. All of this fun hinges on whether or not you mind the junior high kids making out on the hole in front of you, but it's definitely a great place to take kids, or if you're just looking for a cheesy/funny date, why not lose your pride and take her here instead of Dolce.

I love going to Castle Park for things like dates. You can play mini golf or play different games in the arcade. It's a family friendly environment, which means i can go there with my brothers, cousins, and our parents. My brothers and cousins love the batting cages where they can practice before baseball season. It's in a very good location which isn't hard to find at all. I recommend it to anyone going on a first date or for some family fun. The food there isn't very good, your basic junk food like pizza and sodas, but just down the street is the galleria which has many different eating and drinking options.

The arcade's ok, most people just watch the guys on Dance Dance Revolution try and show off. I'd prefer the mini golf. The batting cages also give a team discount for an hour of pitches, which is very nice.

They have everything here. They have minigolf, and many different courses at that. They have batting cages too, and an arcade. It's a great place to go on a first date, where you can laugh at eachother while you're reliving your childhood. It's easy to find right after you get off the 405 freeway. Prices are about average but you can't really put a price on good quality innocent fun.

Friday & Saturday nights are too crowded! I think the best time to go is a Sunday morning, It's cheaper and not as crowded. It's a great family outing and there is something for everyone. I love playing mini-golf with my husband, it's alot of fun, and then when you get bored of that, inside they have all the arcade games. I love the castle design most of all though, it's unique and it's a fun family outing for kids of any ages.

Batting cage, miniature gold, a game arcade..there's a lot to do here. If you've run out of things to do in Los Angeles, then you haven't been here yet. You can go with a group and everyone can find soemthign to maek them happy.

They even through parties for a reasonable price. The arcade games are very modern, unlike some places. They even have the dance one that you jump all around to.

The prices here are great, they even have early bird specials (50% off for the mini golf). If you're hungry, they've got plenty to eat as well. You can really make a night of things here, and it's also 2 minutes (literally) from the Sherman Oaks galleria.

Castle Park in Sherman Oaks is a good place to go for mini-golf, batting cages, etc...especially around LA. The mini-golf course could use some updating, as some of the greens are worn and are tearing. The prices are reasonable though.

Castle Park is a great time for a very little cost. While, the miniature golf course is the most obvious reason to go, the batting cages and arcade add to the fun. This is the best minature golf course in the San Fernando Valley and it's always a good day out without having to break the bank.

It's a pretty nice small park for playing golf with all your family.
There're a lot of fountains there, what kids usually like it for.
There's also a small baseball place for those who prefer it over golf. So it's good only for those who are into these sports, rather than that there's nothing to do.

Batting cages, a big arcade and several miniature golf courses make up this entertainment complex. It's really well maintained and totally worth checking out - for adults and kids alike.

Batting cages, arcade, bad greasy food, and miniature golf. What more could you want for a night out? This place is fun, the way you used to have fun when you were a kid. Also a great place to let off steam - the batting cages.

PROS: fun!
CONS: greasy food

This is a fun family place. Batting cages, miniature golf, video arcade, and air hockey. Fun for a date or to bring the family. Can get too crowded on weekend evenings but in general a nice once in a while alternative to seeing a movie.

Great place for both kids and adults. Clean and well-maintained. Bring a cap if you're going to use the batting ranges (to wear under the mandatory batting helmets).

It is really getting away cheap for a kids party now a days..... Here is their URL: http://www.laparks.org/shermanoaks_castlepk/index.htm

What a perfect place for children. You can have so much fun here and the prices are pretty cheap. My nieces and cousins love everything about this place like the arcades, the baseball batting cages and of course the miniature golf courses. The food there is just okay. I have been here in the weekends and it's pretty crowded but worth going to.

I've never actually played here but I did bring some of my kids here to play. The prices were reasonable and the grounds were nice and clean. It seems like a good environment for some good old fashioned fun. The course was entertaining and challenging enough for the more experienced miniature golpher. They also have an arcade and some other fun activities. Think of hosting a birthday party here.

I think I was mostly impressed by the size and location of this huge fun center. It's located right off of Burbank Blvd on the 405, in fact, you can see it well from the freeway. I didn't like golfing next to the freeway so much, but the course is fun and the arcade is one of the bigger and better ones that I have seen at a fun center.

When I come to this miniature golf park, I feel like I am in the first Karate Kid film. Part of that is because the golfland feels very 80'ish, complete with a cheesy arcade and cafe, dark interior, and cornball courses. But that can be fun sometimes! There are 4 courses with nothing really special as far as obstacles; these courses are maintained fairly, about "par" (haha) for similar golflands. There is also a batting cage and race cars as well as a dark arcade with all the regular games. The cafe is pretty bad, with the normal pizza, hot dogs, and icees. The prices are average and resonable, with discounts depending on the day (I believe Sunday morning is the cheapest day).

I didn't spend much time in the arcade, but I played a lot of mini-golf (or "putt putt" as we say in Georgia). The course was really neat with lots of water and interesting holes. It was also fairly clean. There were the standard hang-out teenagers running around, but it was an all-around good time.

Sherman Oaks Castle Park is one of the few decent miniature golf courses in Los Angeles. It's located on Sepulveda Blvd., very close to where the 101 and 405 Freeways intersect.

The good: 4 different courses, batting cages, and an assortment arcade games.

The bad: if you go on a Friday or Saturday evening, expect it to be PACKED. Parking will be difficult, and you'll do a lot of waiting for large groups to get done with their hole (it really does get backed up).

All in all, this is a fun place to go, but I'd highly recommend hitting it on a weekday, or at least while the sun is still out.

A fun place to have your kids B'day party. They have a mini golf course and arcade games for the kids. For $10 per party guest, they take care of the food, entertainment and games. The cake is ours though.
