I am a product of san dimas high school in CA. While I am sure san dimas high does have wonderful caring teachers..I only had about three during my two and a half year period.Mr. Rose was a wonderful math teacher and a big part of why I went forward with college.I believe he should actually teach college. Also a engish teacher profoundly touched my life...I can not remember her name to save the life of me.She taught ninth grade and was african american. Both of these teachers sad to say no longer work for sdhs. They were both very caring and wonderful teachers. As a student going through so much at my home front, these two teachers were still able to pull me in and enjoy going to class. These two teachers I have mention though had a way with communicating with each student on a different level. It was amazing how much I learned from them.If I did not understand somthing they always had ten different way of explaining it so you would understand. That is why I believe they both should teach college education.College teachers care so much because they know you are paying for your schooling so they want you to get the most of it.I found the rest of the staff uncaring and unkind. If you were not book smart and couldnt understand the way they were explaining you were put in the back of the class. Also my school counsler was Meyer...I also found her unkind and she did not try to help or listen...she pretty much wanted me out of the school. As far as safety I believe it was a safe school.I had a good high school experience.I just dont believe I was provided the best education.I have been married for three years now and am currently in college and if I had a child,I would not send them to this school district.

We think too much about effective methods of teaching and not enough about
effective methods of learning. John Carolus S.J.

Pros: safe school/good community

Cons: staff can be rude/unkind and uncaring.

They providid mi wid a overall gud education. Just kidding... The teachers there were really helpful and seemed to care a lot about the students. They have good basketball and tennis programs as well. I believe that they did a decent job in preparing me for college.

I went to this school for 4 years and think it was a pretty good school, better than most that are in the area. The teaching staff all seemed to know what they were teaching and most of them really seemed to enjoy teaching their subjects. The only downside was the lack of lockers and supplies.
