Though we were in a decent area for good food, we mistakenly sat down. The feel of the place was reminiscent of the movie Psycho. Very crammed with excessive and over bearing decor....

Service was abyssmal. It took well over 12-15 minutes just to have anyone come and wait on us (they were in the back);when they did they spoke zero English and were rather terse. Two items asked about on the menu were unavailable. No atmostphere, no moving air, no music... no nothing to make this an English experience.

The food itself was AWFUL. I had some undercooked links and there was a bowl of beans out of a can on the plate. My son's sandwhich had questionably unfresh ingredients and the bread was rock hard.

I have a mind to retract the $45 charge for this worst meal in my life. We'd done better eating hot dogs and chips at a 7-Eleven store.

I have done all the teas in Southern California and many of the best around the world and this is my favorite so far. The food is made with love and the service very personal and attentive. I highly recommend this place to all.

No choice in teas, sandwiches or anything. We were seated right away but were not served until 15-20 minutes later?and there were only 2 other tables (one with 6 people and the other with 2 people). The waitress/owner proceeded to take the first plate of the tier to put on our table and she dropped our grapes onto the table and the floor. She picked up the grapes from the table and put it back onto our plate but never replaced the other ones that fell on the floor. The waitress/owner was on the phone a lot and mistakenly given me milk in my tea when I requested for no milk. She picked up some stuff off the floor of the tea room (maybe some more grapes she had dropped), placed it in the Tea tray and then grabbed my new cup off the empty table by the rim. That was just gross! The lemon curd was all gone, but yet she offered it as with the Devonshire cream. She said she would bring us back some more but did not. Worst Tea experience I have EVER HAD! Would never go back and would advise others not to go there either.

Pros: Scones were HOT!

Cons: Very bad service, no selection, and...did I mention the bad service?

I had my Graduation Tea Party here, and I was more then satisfied. Every person gets to choose their choice of tea, and we also got adorable and delicious finger sandwiches. The fresh out of the oven scones are to die for. with jam and butter, it's so delicious, it melts in your mouth.

The owner is a BHHS alum, so we made very good conversation, and the other staff are very friendly. Overall, great service, and an excellent experience for anybody who's never had high tea!

I highly recommend this tea spot in Beverly Hills. The best scones I have ever tasted and all the food is prepared from scratch. I held my sisters baby shower and it was truly a memorable experience. Thank You

In my attempt to locate the best tea room in the greater Los Angeles area, I read great reviews about Paddington Tea Room. I can say that the ambiance was pleasant as was the staff but the food is mediocre. I wasn't happy with the tea selection that was offered as it wasn't a large as one may anticipate. The tea sandwiches are of something that can be found at Costco or at a local supermarket. I was found of the salad, as the vinegarette was very light and tasty. The scones were nice and fluffy but seemed to lack flavor. I, unfortunately found myself spreading a great deal of jam on them to make up for what they lacked.
