Home Depot

I must say I like home depot. I have been to the one in campbell at least ten times for various items. I have purchased a ceiling fan, sod and dirt, shovel and supplies for the yard, paint and supplies for the house. Everything you need to do any project is at home depot and at fair prices (at least I think so). There aren't a lot of knowledgeable people there. Like a lot of ware house stores, the people are there to stock and check out your purchases, not to tell how you to do a project. Once in a while you will get a person who may have some experience in the area you need assistance, but it is rare. Most times when I ask a question I get direction to where you can find a tool that might help you.

But if you know what you want and would like it at a cheap price, I say go to home depot. If you have just broke something and would like to fix it yourself, check out a local hardware store like OSH or ACE where the staff is hired on their expertise rather than the ability to stock.

PROS: good prices very wides selection
CONS: not a knowledgeable staff, there to get your items and get out.
