if someone knowledgeable helps you pick them out. I went in, they watched me walk, they studied my feet, then had me "test run" 6 pairs (literally putting the shoes on and running up and down the block to see how they feel). Wow! What a difference that makes! I bought 2 pairs of shoes (1 for trails, 1 for road). Both were brands that I never would have picked out on my own and they are the best running shoes I have ever owned. I have put about 500 miles on those pairs now and am amazed at what a difference the fit makes on my knees and feet. Running needn't hurt. Others have noted that they aren't the low-priced leader. That's correct. That kind of service costs an extra $10 a pair. I am more than happy to pay it.

I finally got a pair of running shoes that are right for me. I have been to a million different running shops--all places that have been recommended to me. This is the first time that someone really recommended the correct shoe for me. I am so happy with my new shoes and I have been running injury free since I got them. They are very nice, very informed, super patient and they ahve a great selection.

Staff are all runners who know their sport well. They listen to your intended use, watch you run, listen to your price range and offer several shoes from several brands to chose from. Very friendly and knowledgable. They also have a running club that you can join! Wide range of prices and shoes. Haven't bought any other gear there, but they have a wide selection.

They really do. They're all serious runners and know a lot about running. Check out some of their times from their recent races; it's always pretty impressive. Really helpful and friendly, they will help find a running shoe for any kind of foot. They're real good for distance running, but their track spike selection is a bit limited.

If you are a runner and need new shoes, this is the place to go. Its on South Lake just south of the freeway. Go in with your old shoes and they will tell you what kind of shoes you need for the way your foot hits the ground. They will recommend for you the best kind of shoe. Its a bit pricey (but sometimes I go somewhere else to buy the shoe they recommend). The staff is very knowledgable.

Run With Us is a great store for people looking for assistance from the experts in selecting running shoes and other attire. The staff are very knowledgeable and will watch you run to guage how you step to determine the appropriate shoe for you. They know many of their customers by name, since the same people tend to keep coming back. They will spend the necessary time with you to help you get the best fit. They also stock water bottles, energy gel, and other accessories for the prepared runner. After leaving the store, you are motivated to try on the great new duds and run!

Based on other reviews on this site I decided to buy my next set of running shoes at Run with US. I have to say that what everyone else has posted is absolutely true. The sales staff are nice and knowledgeable and they have a wide variety of shoes to choose from. Their prices are competative but they are not the lowest.

Great salesmen! They can tell new runners what kind of shoe they need just by watching you walk. And they don't make you feel like a newbie. Good stuff for sale, too.

Probably the best experience I've ever had buying running shoes. They examined my feet, my gait, asked questions about my running style, mileage, etc. Then recommended several types of shoe. No hard upsell to more expensive shoes.
