Community Companion Animal Hospital used to be Community Animal Hospital and moved from Alhambra to Temple City, adding some new vets to the roster. The staff is wonderful and Dr. Pavlik is a compassionate vet who really cares about your pet and has a great "bedside manner." He will take the time to explain everything to you and spend as much time with you as needed. If I had to select someone for "Best Vet", it would truly be him.

Companion Animal Hospital has provided my pets with great care for the last 7 years. Their facility is always clean, there is never a long wait, and you can usually get in for same day appointments. Their prices are average (sometimes a little high, I think), but I feel that I can trust them with my pets. I have recommended them to several friends.

Do not go to them for a 2nd opinion. Also when the vet was asked to look at an infection my dog had and he said he would look at it on a later date when you schedule the surgery. He didn't even look my dog! I definitely would not go there again EVER! Very bad experience. The staff there is very nice though, well at least the receptionist who took my call was. The vets on the other hand were about as useless as trying to diagnose your own pet.

PROS: Nice receptionist
CONS: Very useless vets and is not helpful at ALL

I have been taking my dog here as a puppy for 3 years now. They have been very good to my dog, and saved her life twice, even gave me a discount, on her medical care because she had been in so frequently. The staff is very helpful, and very good with the animals. The facility is very clean.
