Ive never had the occasion to use SBACs services, but here is my observation of one of their drivers today, May 12, 2008 at approximately 3:20 to 3:25 p.m.

While I was traveling northbound on El Camino Real from Millbrae Avenue in Millbrae, the driver constantly maneuvered the SBAC flatbed tow truck from lane to lane, tailgating the cars in front. First, the driver cut in front of me in the middle lane from the right lane, then moved back into the right lane. When I passed the SBAC truck on the left while I remained in the middle lane, the driver then moved back to the middle lane behind me and proceeded to tailgate me. Then the SBAC truck moved back to the right lane. I let the SBAC vehicle pass me on the right, as I needed to move into the right lane to turn right onto a side street from El Camino Real in San Bruno.

All this careless maneuvering on the part of the SBAC driver took place while the tow truck was carrying a vehicle on its bed. Is there anyone who would not deem this driver unsafe? Give this makeshift driver an off-road job to help keep Bay Area roads a little safer.

If anyone has contact with any SBAC employees or knows an e-mail address there, please do us all a favor and pass these words onto them.

$220 for car towing within 3 miles; $65 for daly storage -- three times as much as local comperitors charge if your car get impounded. Mine was impounded not for the crime - I was in hospital for 1 week and my car was parked ofer 72 hours. Had to pay over $700 for 5 day "storage service". Avoid them. Dishonest guys. They will take advantage of you whenever it is possible.

On Feb 24th, March 15th, and April 8th, 2005, San Bruno Auto Center performed repair work on my car. I paid the charges of $1376 in full with my credit card. The work was not done properly and had to be repaired by another mechanic.

I requested a refund from San Bruno Auto Center but was refused and disputed $800 of the charges with my credit card company. My credit card company performed a chargeback and I was credited $800. I received no notice after the chargeback that San Bruno Auto Center was requesting payment.

In February, 2007, a collections account was posted to my credit report on behalf of San Bruno Auto Center. This collections account is fraudulent and has caused me to be denied credit. San Bruno Auto Center never notified me before submitting my information to the collections agency or the credit reporting services

One of the most realiable auto center in the peninsula. I have used them for tow service for my truck and they were quick and very reasonable. They also have flat beds for non-hitchable vehicles.

This is one of AAA's direct towing company. They were quick in rescuing me and the driver was very polite and helpful. He even gave me a ride home because I didn't have anyone to pick me up. Now that's great customer service. I would definately use their service again

I have used this towing company through AAA when I needed a tow. The were very quick to respond to my location and very helpful, by even telling me what was possibly wrong with my car. The tow truck driver was very respectful and towed my vehicle to where I needed instead of storing it at their tow yard.
