Roscoe's House Of Chicken

My old roommate and one of her friends took me here and i was a little skeptical at first Chicken and waffles? Weird combo, but i must say that it was an amazing combo. The waffles are light and to die for and the chicken is amazing. The people that work here are friendly and make you feel at home. The prices are not bad at all and you get a lot of food. I am definitely making another trip.

Believe it or not this place has the best waffles! I never thought I would order the chicken and the waffles together but I now do. The service is hit and miss. As long as you don't expect too much you won't be disappointed. In my opinion the waffles are worth slow service!

This place has the best, weirdest food, I have ever eaten. They serve chicken or waffles or chicken on top of waffles...i know it sounds gross but it is really not.

They actually sell chicken and waffles here! You can buy waffles and you can get chicken and gravy on your waffles. It sounds gross but it is always good, especially if you are a fan of chicken. The service here is excellent, but it usually gets pretty crowded on Sundays after the local churches let go, then parking becomes somewhat hectic!

This is my favorite restaurant. Not only can you have fried chicken and waffles on the same plate, but you can also order an array of other tasty southern food. The excellent food makes up for the lack of decor, and the inexpensive prices make each bite taste sweeter. Roscoe's is simply fun, home-style cooking.

Have been going to the one in Pasadena and the one on Pico Blvd for quite a few years. The only thing I hate is --- HOW COME THERE'S NO ROSCOE'S IN ORANGE COUNTY!!! When we have that crave for chicken and waffles(smothered in that gravy) and the collard greens and the candied yam, there ain't no substitute?!!! My husband and I will drive 30miles just to have it. We are some insane Asian....! I might not have any idea of what good authentic Southern food or soul food really is, but great food is great food, simple as that. - PO

Roscoe's has the absolute best waffles. The chicken is not very good. The service is not great. There is always a wait. BUT the waffles make you forget all.

When you're in the mood for chicken and waffles, this is the spot. Not sure Dr. Atkins or your cardiologist would be pleased, but great eats.
