I would love to go back and take each one that I know who enjoys a incredible Mexican meal. I like it in here, warm and warm and the services are not that shabby, definitely one of the better place to have a Mexican meal.

I love the dishes in here, oozing with fantastic flavors of the south! The spices that they have are just out of this world. They certainly have authentic Mexican cooking in here.

I would go back for more of that amazing Mexican experience. The authenticity of every aspect of this place is incredible. The ambiance, the drinks, the food and the whole shebang is what makes this place authentic.

We stopped here after an afternoon of tennis at the nearby tennis club. We were all famished and this place satisfied our appetites with very delicious Mexican food. The salsas were good and hot just the way we like it. Picked up on more an authentic flavor than most places that claim to offer Mexican. Looks like they're the real thing. Especially, when you see Menudo, Pesole, Barbacoa on the menu which is offered on weekends for the most part. Even though it was our first visit, I'm guessing no one is ever disappointed no matter what they order. It's a little place with some outdoor seating so our party of six ate outside. Indoors was snug but a bit stuffy. However, the service was relaxed and pleasant enough. They were busy even at 3:00 in the afternoon which for a lot of places is slower. Later in mentioning we had lunch at La Rana, a friend shared that they have been going there for years with his wife and kids. They drive from San Clemente just to make a point to eat there. After eating there, I can see why. To me the prices are a little higher than I'm use to paying for great Mexican food because we know some of the hole-in-the wall places that you find much lower prices. But considering the area, you have to expect the prices to be pricey. Refreshing Mexican beverages, domestic and imported beer served. Kids menu too. For those wondering how authentic, they serve a Huitlacoche hechas a mano quesadilla.

The food is really good here! It's a local place and is really authentic. Everything is decently priced, and the quality that you get is worth it. You see a lot of the locals going here. The only downside is that you often have to wait a while to get your food.
