la Casa Restaurant & Bar

La Casa is an established restaurant, family-friendly, but with a very nice ambience, and great food. I've been going there for years. I especially love the chiles relleno and the vinaigrette they serve on the cabbage salad.

This restaurant is located across from the San Francisco Solano Mission in downtown Sonoma. If you can get a window seat, that historical building would be your view. The Mexican food served uses fresh ingredients and dishes have a made-from-scratch quality. Both the service and atmosphere are good. The chips and salsa are tasty, and if you want more, just look for them in the local grocery stores.

LaCasa is a good place to go for Mexican food! It has great ambiance and good food!
It used to be THE hot spot in Sonoma~ but not so anymore. Even so, it's still a great place for a fun night out!
Reasonably expensive, but not bad when you compare to other Plaza restaurants!
My favorite items are the Dave's Burrito and Macho Nachos! YUM!

Although this is on the plaza and you would think tourist trap this restaurants is pretty good. You can leave here for around $40.00/ person (w/drinks) and you are pretty full. The quality of the food is good and the ingredients are fresh. On some days it can be very crowed with tourists, however that does not take away from the excellent food and service.
