Established in 1952, Redwood Parents Nursery School (RPNS) is a non-profit, parent-education, cooperative preschool in Redwood City. We are accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and are a member of the California Council of Parent Participation Nursery Schools.

We were at RPNS for about 4 years. It was a fantastic experience. We loved all the teachers, Margie Lawson was a great Pre K teacher and Principal. Lots of activities for the children in a creative , loving , safe environment. Parent partcipation is required.

RPNS is a great co-op preschool. We have been there for 5 years with both of our kids. The teachers are wonderful, the parent community supportive and caring. This school does require parent participation but in return you get to be with your child and see them grow and interact with their friends. We made some of our best friends at RPNS, also.
PROS: This is more than just a school for your child
CONS: Requires parent participation
