I just got my laptop back from Tiger Tech today and I noticed ALOT of nicks and scratches that were not there prior to me dropping it off with them. I took it in because of a video problem that I was having which I thought was the video cable. I was originally given a very low estimate of somewhere in the $20 - $40 price range if I remember correctly. Once it was determined that the problem was the video cable and I asked how much it would cost to fix it, I was given another estimate but this time it was much higher, in fact over $100!!. I believe the justification given was because he (the older gentleman) had spent along time troubleshooting and was trying to make up for it even though they cliam to have no diagnostic fee. I had to remind him of the original quote given to me. In the end I purchased the parts myself and brought them to Tiger Tech and ended up paying them $40 for their work. In my opinion, they did a "good" job aside from the new scratches and nicks. They should really try to make sure that they don't damage your parts when they work on them. I did not raise a stink with them but am a bit irritated by the asthetic damage.

I chose Tiger Tech under recommendation from a friend and trying to help out the ??small town businesses?. The employees were incredibly nice; HOWEVER, I hate the fact that I wasted money to take my laptop there - not once but twice. I had a glitch with my computer screen and took my laptop in the first time. They claimed that it was fixed; yet, when I got home, the issue remained. I couldn??t rush to take it back because I had papers for school that needed to get done. After my screen had completely blacked out, I took it back and asked them to fix it again. I was informed that the person who worked on my laptop: took it apart before trying to glue the wires back into place (a big no no). Also, in the process of taking my laptop apart, they broke tabs on one of my hinges disabling the screen to be held completely in place. When I went to pick up my laptop because it was ??ready?, my hinge was being held on by SCOTCH TAPE.

I was charged a total of $100 (paid the first time I thought it was fixed but was not charged the second time). The employee informed me that when my screen glitches again (he was sure it was going to happen), to bring it back to them and they would try to find the cables that I would need to be replaced but that it could take months to find it and it would probably cost about $130 . . . Therefore, all I got out of it was the fact that I could have paid an extra $30 the FIRST time to get a whole new cable but it would take months. That is not the time any college student has to send their laptop away.

In the end, I am 100% not satisfied with the outcome of taking my laptop to Tiger Tech. I sent my laptop into the company who made it and although no longer under warranty, my laptop is currently fixed for FREE with new replacement parts and it only took one week to send, fix, and receive it back (=

Just came back from Tiger Tech where Sean, the new owner for a few years now I believe, did an amazing job on my computer repair. I was there about 4 years ago and customer service was non-existent. I almost didn't comeback, but I called because everyone else in town charges just to look at the machine. When I spoke to Sean he told me that he was running the shop now. So I took a chance and I'm very happy. The other computer repair shops in Lancaster and Palmdale told me I was just going to have to buy a new computer, however, Sean fixed it very fast and inexpensively. He told me it was just a power supply, installed a new one and didn't charge me for a diagnostics fee, plus he said he did some spyware clean up. My PC is running like it's new. Very satisfied and will be back for any other computer repairs - and a new system when I'm able to get one. Times are hard and I'm glad that there is one business left in the world that isn't out to take your last dollar!

I am so glad that Sean is the new owner - the guy really knows his stuff! I get called in to a lot of friends to fix their computers, but I am just a low level tech. When I can't figure it out, Sean is alwasy ready to lend good advice and gives very reasonable prices for the repairs that he does. I just had him put together a custom system for me and it is really great! I have recommended TigerTech to a lot of friends and they have always come back to me happy. Don't worry about the stark appearance of the showroom, if he doesn't have something in stock, he can usually get it in less that 24 hours at a good price!

Sean is the New Owner, it's okay to shop there again! I just bought an adapter. Best Buy does not carry computer internals like power supply adapters and I called Tiger Tech and they had it. I almost didn't call because of an experience several years ago but now they have a new owner, Sean, who used to be the tech guy.

Anyway, I'm taking the time to write this because it is important to support local business and the reviews below are unfair as that was regarding the previous owner.

I see all the past reviews and I must say that I can understand why they were written as I did know and had delt with the last owners. But as of about 5 months ago the old owners have retired and since then has new ownership. I must say that I see the big difference in customer service. The guy is always willing to help you out with whatever your problem or question may be. He treated me very well and went over everything with me in full detail. I bought a new custom built computer from him and I'm loving it! I have never had a better or faster computer before. So I just wanted to say that the past reviews are very old and if you do need something I would highly recommend Tiger Tech now. I know I will be going there for any type of computer service I need in the future.

The owners of this store should go back where they came from. Very unprofessional, rude, do not know what common courtesy means. I been in their store 2 times and the son of the owner or brother was very rude.All I was doing was asking questions about Computer, in fact he was so rude a customer in the store who was just browsing made a comment that he is not coming back to this store because he heard them the way the owner or owners relative treated me and he told him he should not be treating his customer like he did. I was just so stunned the way this owner or owner's relative they way he treated me I was lost for word. That was over a year ago I never came back again since.. I warned all my relatives and friends to stay away from this store "Tiger Tech" Just horrible customer service.

avoid this place at all costs. They sell 3 year old computers like they're top of the line = high prices. Place looks like a exploded computer factory, staff was very high pressure both times I went there. You can do alot better!

These guys don't carry quality parts and sell second rate computers. The people think they know everything but they don't, they'll overcharge you on PC repairs from what i heard I heard. Personally went there 2 times got soem rude service and left with nothing.
