A Bellagio Italian restaurant offers truly distinctive and authentic Italian cuisine. This Campbell Italian restaurant uses only the finest and freshest ingredients: Angus beef, meats that are free of chemicals and hormones, and organic produce. This Italian restaurant also offers wine selection includes selections from Italy as well as the best Domestic vintages. Finish your meal with one of our tempting desserts, coffee and espresso drinks and aperitifs. Owner Pino Spanu first opened A Bellagio's doors to its enthusiastic customers in Fall 2003. Named after the town of Bellagio on beautiful Lake Como, this Italian restaurant continues to attract new customers and provide a consistently memorable experience for its many regulars. A Bellagio Italian restaurant was honored with Citysearch's Best Italian Food of 2005 Award. We look forward to serving you soon!

I love this restaurant, it is so good. The portions are so huge that you possibly couldn't finish an entree by yourself. They are a little pricey but well worth it.

Delicious food, great atmosphere
by Gene S.
A Bellagio is one of the most distinctive and consistently enjoyable restaurants in Silicon Valley. They offer a range of salads, panini, pastas and entrees and desserts that guarantee you'll want to make return visits. It's a great place to take clients for a business lunch or a date for a special evening. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the wait staff is knowledgeable and courteous, especially when it comes to helping you select a wine from their impressive stock of Italian and American choices. One of my favorites from the dinner menu is Scallope alla Ligure (Sea scallops sauteed in a garlic white wine sauce, with diced wild mushrooms and prosciutto crudo).

The Perfect Neighborhood Restaurant
by Norine L.
When I want to go someplace to eat where the food is good and the service makes you feel like a VIP, here is where we go. The owner here is always doing something to upgrade the restaurant or the menu. It is a comfortable place. They have some dishes that are absolutely incredible - an appetizer that is a vegetable studel for instance. And to cap off the evening, there is a gentleman who does a very good job of playing the accordion who will take requests at your table

Wonderful Italian experience with great atmosphere and customer service!
by pupule7ca
My wife and I went there for the first time and fell in love with the place. The atmosphere is romantic and the food is excellent - best Italian cuisine around. The service was attentive and friendly. The gnocchi was just perfect and full of flavor and my pasta with shellfish was very light with a rich tomato broth with the shellfish cooked to perfection. This will be our romantic date get away from now on!

Good place to decompress from your troubles or work
by dougbattaglia
My wife and I love this place. We are "regulars" and have been for many years. The food is excellant and Pino always comes up with his "specials" to surprise his friends. The service we have always considered one of the top reasons for repeating our visits and we have a very at home feeling there. I can say, without reservation, it is one of my favorite places after a long day or a special occasion. You will find it as special as I do I am certain. Grazie.
Pros: Ambience, Friendly Service

This restaurant has seen better days
by olafh
The food, atmosphere and service were significantly better a couple of years ago. Menu changes, price changes and an overall change in the "vibe" of A Bellagio has turned it into a restaurant that I no longer visit. Maybe they were trying to compete with the other restaurants on Campbell Avenue. Maybe they no longer care. All I know is that I have taken my business elsewhere.
Pros: None that I can think of
Cons: High prices, limited menu selection

Best Italian food you'll find at a restaurant!!!!!!!!!
by jc40895124
I'm proud to be italian, but have a hard time finding a restaurant outside of Grandpa's house that makes it as good as he does. This place does it. It is by far the best Italian food I haven't eaten at a restaurant, and has some fierce competition with grandpa. I just happen to try it a couple years ago with my father and we've been regulars ever since. I feel like I've known the owner since childhood, he is an amazing guy. If your looking for authentic italian, not that italian american junk, this is the place! You won't be sorry.
Pros: Everything about this place
Cons: none

Authentic Italian cuisine prepared with style...one of the best Silicon Valley restaurants
by joeyditali
Like many World Cuisines, Italian cooking features "authentic" dishes as well as those created in America for American tastes. Chicken Parmigiana? It may be tasty, but it's not authentic Italian. In Italy, pasta is cooked "al dente" (literally, "to the tooth," with a slightly firmer texture at the center), and it is not smothered in red sauce. Once you've tried Fileto Allo Speck E Zola (Fillet of beef wrapped in speck and gorgonzola cheese) and Spaghetti Bellagio (Spaghetti, parmesan cheese, oregano, marinara, egg, prosciutto in cream sauce), you'll want to sample everything on the restaurant's tempting menu. Seafood lovers will appreciate the freshness of the Spaghetti all Scoglio (Pasta tossed with mussels, clams and prawns, sauteed in olive oil and garlic-based white wine marinara sauce, with a sprinkle of fresh chopped parsley). The Insalata di Spinaci (Spinach Salad) is far above the ordinary, featuring Baby spinach, ribbons of browned pancetta topped with crumbled gorgonzola cheese in A Bellagio's house dressing. Owner Pino Spanu has invested considerable effort into creating a relaxing, visually appealing restaurant to showcase his culinary creations. He uses Angus beef and meats that are free of chemicals and hormones, as well as the freshest organic produce. In addition to soups, salads, antipasti and entrees, he offers a diverse list of Italian and American wines, tempting desserts such as tiramisu and the Italian version of flan, "Crema Catlana," plus a choice of Aperitifs and Espresso drinks to finish your meal. He's made several major upgrades to the interior of the restaurant in 2006 and continues to improve what is already a wonderful experience for Silicon Valley diners who seek a memorable (and delicious) experience.
Pros: Authentic Italian cuisine, fresh quality ingredients, an inviting atmosphere
Cons: None

I forgot I was in the U.S.
by victorygreg
Going to A Bellagio Ristorante must be the best dinning experience I have had in a while. I felt as if I was in Northern Italy again. The serving staff was very attentive, and continued to go beyond the average service that you get at other restaurants. The food was awesome, as my dad would say " the food is so good it makes your tonue want to slap your brains out". I definately recommend this place if you are looking for good food and a great time.

Disappointed
by cmargozzi
Both of our meals were disappointing. My husband ordered Osso Bocco; the waitress raved about the meal. The amount of actual meat was miniscule and lots of fat (75%). The owner told us that this is authentic and that local Italians like to eat the fat and bone marrow. I ordered scallopini au funghi (veal scallopini wth mushrooms). It was over-cooked and bland.
Although the service was friendly and you get a lemon-drop shot after dinner, we will not return.
Pros: Friendly service, nice atmosphere
Cons: high priced, food poor

I felt like family
by caffeind
I loved teh experience. The owner gave me directions like I was a long los brother. The bartender greeted me like we went to school together. The food was very unique. Each bit was a differant experience, none of which I expected. What an Experience!! After dinner, we sat at the bar and the wait staff treated us like family. What an experience!!! Come, but leave your Twisted Sister hair at home, they showed up the night I was there.
Pros: Unique, Member of the family, Personality
Cons: I got lost
