Please Find A Good Breeder Instead  1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

This place is just like every other puppy store out there. the people are nice though. I am a hobby Show Breeder and have none about Byrite since I was a little girl. I must say that the owners quality in puppies has dropped drastically. No they do not research the home for puppies because money is their 1st concern. Here's some food for thought. I went there one day with a friend who was getting a puppy I told her not to and I decided to hold a cocker puppy. The puppy was listed at $750. I had a chance to look at the papers they had and got the breeders name and when I looked her up guess what same type of puppy direct from her was $400. Wow what a mark up! 1 year guarantee is not enough by the way its the bare minimum they are required to give you. Please be careful and research your breed and breeder. I also locate breeders for all breeds at no charge. You can visit my site and e-mail me at www.primecanines.com

Papillon pup  4 Star Rating - Very good

I adopted a Papillon puppy from here and I have owned him for almost 4 years. He is a very healthy wonderful dog so I have no complaints. My biggest concern isn't as much the Store itself it's the people they sell their puppies to. There is no research into whether or not the people purchasing pups can provide a good home. Then again there are so many puppy mills out there, I have questions there as well. Then puppies from puppy mills are healthy...it's the parents that are sick. Anytime you have a lot of pups together you can get kennel cough. I am 50/50

Good and bad  4 Star Rating - Very good

I've heard some good things and bad things about this place.

This place has cutest puppies ever! But word on the street is that they get the puppies from a puppy mill. What is a puppy mill, you ask? Many use it in a negative connotation, where the place the puppies are being breeded are dirty, trashy, and deplorable conditions. Some also believe that the breeding is done soley for financial gain rather than protection of breed integrity.

When we picked up our puppy, we got a certification in the mail several days later showing that the breed was indeed full and also a 1 year warranty against certain hereditary or congenital problems.

You be a judge and decide for yourself. Overall I am very pleased with the service they have provided.

DON'T ADOPT FROM HERE  1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

They get there puppies from puppy mills and the poor things are always sick!!! Plus the warranty sucks so you wont get any of your money back and you're stuck with a sick animal which you already have fallen in love with (paid for) and now have hundreds to even thousands of dollars more on vet bills trying to get it back to good health. My advice is to do VERY good research and find a local breeder where you can meet at least one of the parents and trace back some history.
