Mechanic burned hole in my seat with a cigerette. I did not see when picked up. Cats peed on my carpet. Final bill much more than he quoted. Boat ran crappy after tuneup. Took to Tracker and they said timing was way out. I will not go back as everything was wrong. Bad part of town too. Go somewhere else. Since this example I saw a flyer at Silverwood lake warning of the terrible service by Fiber Pros. Wish I would have seen before I took my boat to them.

Pros: None

Cons: Terrible work

.

I took my boat to Fiber Pros to have the coupler repaired. They told me $800.00 and when I picked it up it was $1,400.00 cash only. Boat was returned with empty gas tank (later found that they had broke the gas line draining all the gas into the bilge). In addition water was coming in at a steady rate from back of engine.
I returned boat. Boat was returned with a loud knock as the stern was out of line with the engine. Back to Fiber Pros. Again, took to lake and water continued to pour in from rear of engine. The boat was again returned. In prepping the boat for the water I noticed gear oil leaking from the lower unit and the outer bushing missing off of the trim cylinder, I repaired. When I picked up the boat the boat and my life vests smelled of cat urine. Tom tried to deny having the cats but when confronted with admission by the mechanic he switched to the defense that it is out of his control and therefore he is not responsible.
Back to lake and again the same leak. I called Tom and he said he would send the mechanic to my house to take a look on Thursday. They no showed and never called. I built a tank for the stern unit and sure enough water was leaking from a hole in the exhaust manifold.
I took off the exhaust manifold. I ran a mirror inside and could see the metal pealed back inside. A competent mechanic determined that the Fiber Pros tightened down the engine mounting bolt, without the spacer, and right it into the manifold. He then realized his error and replaced the spacer. I had the boat repaired by another facility and it cost me over $3,000.00 to have all the damage that Fiber Pros caused repaired. Tom Tecca promised to reimburse me the whole amount but he failed to pay the full amount saying it was not his fault. Bottom line is the mechanic is incompetent and their work is worthless and Fiber Pros should be avoided at all costs. In addition, two independent mechanics have told me horror stories about Fiber Pros.
