Food was simply delicious
by Lucy B.
We were celebrating our friend's b-day. For 10 people we ordered 3 appetizers, 1 salad, 2 entries and shared 3 desserts. Everything was just great. Service very good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

It went from BAD to WORSE
by Samantha J.
8:30pm dinner reservations on a Saturday night for a party of 5, restaurant was not busy for the type of service and food we received. We hardly seen our waitress "Elma", every entree' and drink took forever to get to our table AND we had to return our uncooked plate of $28.00 ravioli's, which she still left on our final bill for us to pay. I told two seperate hostesses that we were celebrating a birthday and yet nothing was done in recognition for my husbands special day. We spent alot of money for a very disappointing and not so tasty dinner. To top it all off, my mother nearly fell on her behind because there is a loose step on the staircase in which they all seem to know about it. Even the bartender told her that she should of fell, so that maybe they would finally get it fixed. Would not recommend this location

Best Valued Italian Food Ever
by travis h.
Everytime I go to a Buca it's busy and I can understand why. Huge portions for what you'd pay for a regular size dish at any other restaurant make it easy to share my dinner with my wife when she realizes she liked my order better. the food quality is very good. Flavorful and fresh, plus they were more than willing to make the pasta to my liking. Service was good with a very energetic waitress. The decor is eclectic with different pictures on all the wall which gives you something to talk about while at dinner than the same thing. All in all, for my money, there's no better place.
PROS: Great value, interesting decor, Good food
CONS: busy, took a while to be seated but they take reservations I hear.

Buca di Beppo serves family style Italian food. You get a big huge serving and is expected to share the food with everyone in your group. If you have a group of 6, a salas and 2-3 main dishes should be plenty. And don't forget their Tiramisu.

We took my in-laws here for a dinner with my family. It's a good place to go if you want a fun, casual atmosphere. The portions are large, but the food isn't outstanding. Our waiter was quite entertaining and offered good service.

Beppo's is a lot of fun when you have 8 or more people who can go share the food. It's a family style Italian restaurant, so they only serve huge platters of food. If you want some variety, you have to have a lot of people. I like the Di Beppo 1893 salad, the linguini frutti di mare, and the chicken marsala. All the desserts are good. Make sure you check out the bathrooms (yes, ladies should check out the men's room if they have a chance), they have some interesting decorations.

Don't understand
by John F.
I don't understand why you would prop a door to the kitchen open all day(rats, roaches and dirt) I have heard stories of roaches in food, dead rats in the ceiling dripping maggots on the bar. Second the food is freezer food, I once waited with a group and saw the Tortellini, ravoili, pork sausage, chicken and also saw piles of cans. They say they make things fresh...does throwing in a fresh herb make the dish fresh? I guess Applebee's is fresh then. The service was pretty good, but the food was overpriced for what you get. They charge 15$ I think for a pound of spaghetti with a canned tomato onions and fresh basil sauce. I would say they only thing they really have going for them is there is not really anywhere else that you can take a party of 20.
PROS: Take Large reservations
CONS: food is quantity not quality, Not grown up food

A high energy experience, Buca di beppo is worth a trip for the kitsch and camp of it all. You sit under family portraits and feel like you're a part of Italian legend and lore. Dishes come big enough for a family, so don't let the waitstaff over-order for you.

What a fun atmosphere! Almost always packed, but the service is very prompt. A great place to celebrate a birthday! And the food is DELICIOUS!!! The quatro al forno is one of my favorites, as well as the warm spinach and tomato salad with cheese. The tiramisu is yummy, too! Portions are very generous, so prepare your appetite! Lots of food for your money!
