This bakery has the best bread and cakes. If you are having a party or a celebration this is the place to visit. The taste of all their sweets are to die for. Try it.

Their baked goods are heavenly. We especially enjoy the olive oil and rosemary bread. Pastries and savories are sometimes from the previous afternoon, but I prefer my croissants a little less flaky. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable

I paid $4.25 for a very dry almond crossant and the Caffe Latte I ordered was barely lukewarm. Almost $8 for this? I'll stick to The Coffee Bean. There's also no parking on La Brea anywhere near this place during rush hour unless you

Delicious, flaky crust, and the pretzel bread is delicious. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. It's worth stopping in if you're anywhere nearby!

La Brea Bakery is famous for its bread, and if you ever try their olive bread with their rosemary olive oil, you might understand. Freshly baked and warm, it?s perfect for a summer picnic. They also make fabulous sandwiches, croissants, and scones, and they sell a great variety of cheeses.

PROS: Fantastic bread, great selection of foods

Another place I recommend to friends and visitors. Very good, tasy treats baked fresh, and the granola is fabulous. Great place to grab a bite before hitting Buffalo Exchange and going on a gentle shopping spree.

This bakery's bread, baked daily and delivered by truck locally, is now available in nearly every better grocery store in Los Angeles. We became devoted to LBB after tasting their focaccia covered in caramelized onions many years ago. the quality remains high and they offer a huge selection of fresh breads both savory and occasionally sweet...try the chocolate cherry bread next time you want really amazing french toast!

PROS: The wide variety and high quality of breads
CONS: pricey..but what better to do with $5 or $6???

although most people stop in to take out bread--that's what the place is famous for...they sell it in grocery stores all over the country, what stands out as my VERY favorote (and I've tried a lot over the years), is the rosemary scone.

Perhaps LA's best bakery. They sell every kind of bread with olives, cheese and cherries. I like their sourdough rolls. it is connected to the appealing Campanile restaurant.
