Haight Ashbury Free Clinics

This is one of th ebest places in the city. It is for those that do not have medical insurnace. I like to see the women OBGYN because they are so knowledgable and friendly. And if you cannot afford to pay, then its okay. This place is a godsend. They do wonderful work here.

Excellant service for those that do not have health care. Operates on a sliding scale basis, so you pay what you can afford. Great staff who take the time to help you and answer all questions that you may have. Health Care provided is easily comparable to a regular doctors office. Clean and well maintained premises.

Can be a little tricky to get an appointment, would reccomend the drop in first come-first served option, just get there early!

This place is great! There was a time when I was not able to afford healthcare and was really sick. I made an appointment and was given medical care for free. It may take some time for you to get in, so if it is serious you may have to go elsewhere, but it is a good, safe and free place to get healthy. I wish that there were more places like this in the city.

I didn't have medical insurance for years. I finally got it, and for many reasons, I sorely missed my days at the Haight Ashbury Free Clinic. I feel like I got better treatment and service there than at my fancy doctor's office downtown. This place truly is a miracle. They will help you out with whatever problem you have and can even provide you with medication if necessary. This place is awesome.
