Villa Blanca is sexy, white, clean, comfortable, and inspired. It has gorgeous art, stylish furnishings with creative music selections. The ambiance is extremely important to us; flowers, lighting, chairs, staff. The menu is created by Exec. Chef Francis Dimitrius who attended the CA School of Culinary Arts, Le Cordon Bleu (formerly of Koi.) Dimitrius pulls from his background in classic Mediterranean, Italian and European cooking along with Asian influences. The menu is distinctive with Mediterranean and European influences. Owner Lisa Vanderpump-Todd owns several restaurants in Los Angeles area including the amazing SUR restaurant in West Hollywood and a slew of restaurants & clubs in London. Available for private parties including birthdays, weddings and all other types of events! To schedule a private party, please make a reservation: (310)859-7600.

The corner formerly known as Trilussa Ristorante is now a white-hued wonderland intended to bring a touch of St. Tropez to the middle of Beverly Hills. Spearheaded by the restaurateurs behind Sur, the kitchen is helmed by executive chef Francis Dimitrius of Koi and Matsuhisa Aspen. Diners can expect a menu that encompasses international flavors, with both Italian comfort food (pizza and pasta) and dishes like panko-crusted eggplant, seafood paella and drunken battered fish and chips. For the ladies-who-lunch group, the usual assortment of salads and sandwiches is available in the afternoons. In true 90210 fashion, the waitstaff all look like young, aspiring actor/model types, but in the evenings the restaurant attracts a mostly older clientele. The outdoor patio opens out onto the corner of Camden and Brighton and offers a prime spot for people watching.

Key Points

  • Rodeo Drive (Beverly Hills)
  • Exec. Chef Francis Dimitrius
  • Private Parties

Ratings_icons Beautiful Restaurant

A girlfriend of mine had her birthday dinner at Villa Blanca and the first thing I notice is the beautiful decor! All white linen, white columns, and a beautiful array of flowers. The atmosphere was great and our server was really accommodating, even though we showed up 30 minutes late! I cannot get enough of the design and theme of the restaurant. Very classy.

Another thing I noticed was how GORGEOUS the staff is. I couldn't stop looking. That definitely made our dinner even better. They were also very nice and checked up on us to see if we needed anything.

I had the grilled organic salmon and was very impressed. It was flavored with the perfect blend of spices and was accompanied by fluffy mashed potatoes and salad. I can't wait to come back and try their other entrees!

I had a great experience at Villa Blanca and we intend on returning for lunch in the near future. I don't get the mixed reviews because the staff was lovely, the decor is amazing, and the food is great. I highly recommend coming here. You won't be disappointed!

Ratings_icons Villa Blanca is one of the best restuarants in Beverly Hills!

Gina T. | insider Insider | Rank: 31,805

I have been to Villa Blanca quite a few times and each time I have tried something new. My first time there was for a family members birthday. I ordered the Spaghetti Lolita, and it was extremely delicious. It came with some very juicy chicken but what made it for me was the white wine sauce.
For dessert, we decided to split 3 different things since we were a large group. We ordered the Villa Blanca Cheesecake, Hawaiian Mochi, and the Lemon Charlotte Cake. My favorite was the Villa Blanca Cheesecake which had a unique caramel sauce on it.
The service was great and the decor was beautiful. However, this place seems like its for the older crowd.

My 2nd time at Villa Blanca, I was feeling adventurous. I'm not a big fan of seafood but I loved the Peppercorn Encrusted Ahi Tuna. I recommend it and also the Spaghetti Lolita to anyone who goes here.

This is a great restaurant and although it seems to be for the older crowd, I will go back for the delicious food.

Ratings_icons Miami Heaven

beachdude45

It is beautifully decorated and feels like a slice of Miami heaven. White umbrella's and the staff wears flip flops and white button down shirts that are quite revealing. The food was "ok" but the atmosphere makes up for it.

Pros: atmoshere

Ratings_icons The PERFECT lunch hotspot in LA!

Right in the heart of Beverly Hills, Villa Blanca is has a great vibe, terrific people watching and very, very good food, at an affordable price. Every time I am in LA, I make it a point to lunch there and urge you all to do the same.PLUS, every time I am there, a celeb is sitting close by. Last Friday, it was Gerard Butler.Good luck!

Pros: Great food, famous faces, beautiful decor

HighFive

Ambiance was great. Food excellent, appetizers, salads, entrees and deserts yummy for tummy. Drinks a lil pricey, but that is LA, should work on that 1 as 4 drinks gets you a decent bottle of wine.

Pros: Ambiance & Food

Ratings_icons Great food

Foment3

The food was great. Really surprised. We had lunch and dined on the lobster rolls and linguine with mussels. Both were excellent. Another friend had the miso soup which included in its contents white asparagus and exotic mushrooms. We were all pleased with our food. The service was OK, nothing great. The hosts and hostesses were very attentive however. The wait staff needed some fine tuning. The place was quite lively and the crowd was a good mix of folks.

Pros: Food

Cons: Service

A posh restaurant with good food and very beautiful staff. Service was a tad on the slow side, though nice and friendly. I loved the smell of fresh flowers. The arrangements were enormous and gorgeous.

Ratings_icons Great Location

sxzdiva

This place is in a great location in Beverly Hills, near the stores/shops. The food is great. The downside is the servers. The servers are not on top of things with the drinks and food. However, once you have your food, they quickly want to take your plate away- kind of like they want you to go home.

Pros: Location

Cons: The servers

Ratings_icons Great atmosphere!

slpdocstu

Even when you are sitting inside, you feel as if you are outside - it feels like sitting in a restaurant on South Beach. I love this restaurant - near the great shopping in BH, but tucked away on a side street. The food is great and the prices are reasonable. This is a great place for a date or dinner and wine with the girls. Watch out for snobby servers, though!

Pros: Great atmosphere and outdoor seating

Cons: Snobby servers

Ratings_icons Nice for dining AL FRESCO in LA

divine01

We stopped at Trilussa, when we were shopping Beverly Hills. The staff was accomodating in finding us a table outside, even without a reservation. Our server was amazing! I thought he was very attentive and polite. So I am not sure what happened to the other reviewer. My children loved the food (the mussels, calamari, and pizza)! No complaints here! BTW, I loved the biscotti! We even took some home! :)

Pros: Biscotti! Service

Cons: Very crowed

Ratings_icons Cozy & Romantic Great Food for the Value!

bethrm

Trilussa has consistently been the best restaurant on the Westside. Their mixed Italian fare is by far a fair price for Beverly Hills, not to mention the excellent service. For true Italian food seekers, Trilussa will become a staple for your dinner plans. The food is always dependably yummy and the wait staff is eager to please. Their angel hair pasta with homemade red sauce is bar-none the best in Los Angeles.

Pros: Great Food, Great Waitstaff, Available Seating

Cons: Loud, Sometimes Cold, Cheesy Live Music

Ratings_icons Great pizza

Obernager

Great pizza. They serve, Roman style pizza and it is the best, this side of the Atlantic. Thin crust and well done, with a marvelous Marinara sauce. Very light. (Unlike the pizza you are served in Venice or Naples.) Have not tried other dishes, but they all look good. Have been coming back for the past 10 years or so. Service is always good, charming and unobtrusive. On last visit, I found the wines to be on the expensive side. The least expensive Italian red costs $29, but they know their wines, none the less. More of a dining place than an eating place, but good for large parties too. Overall warm and charming atmosphere.

Pros: Excellent pizza, great service, dimmed lighting

Cons: no carpet
