Once Upon A Time

Cute, quaint with thoughtfully selected books for kids of all ages - including a good young adult section my teen niece thought was cool. The space is cozy with books placed in themes like all pirate books are in an old trunk. Its more fun to shop and browse. The puppets are great too and I've bought tons of finger puppets to add to a book. I had no idea they had such a good selection of adult books -- not the junk you see at other places, but all books I would want for my library. I can see why they have been in this cute Montrose for so long -- they have lots of personality.

I was so happy to see the best children's bookstore still around and now in a better location - down with the cool restaurants. This store has something for all ages -- adults as well as kids. The fun gift ideas and books with puppets are great and the card selection is not your typical hallmark-blah type cards. You can tell that a great deal of thought seems to have gone into the selection of the books as the store seems to be a little smaller than the other location, but this is well laid out.

Once Upon a Time is located in Montrose in the sweet little shopping area. It's a fun little book shop that has stayed alive, despite all the chains popping up. There is something very special about this little shop. It captures the beauty of the mom and pop store and is perfect for the area. Great place to pick up books and other neat things!

In these days of big bookstore chains, these is a real gem. The ambiance reminds me of the good old days when you could browse quality merchandise for hours. Although when you need them, the friendly staff can be quite helpful and knowledgeable. There are monthly adult discussions as well as special in-store special events. Special orders can be placed on request.

Once Upon A Time is an independent bookstore that has attracted many young and old alike. They carry a big collection of great quality children's books for the whole family to enjoy. They carry storybooks, educational books, and fun storybooks for children. It is a great place because it encourages interactions within families and the great pastime of reading.
