Los Gatos Meats & Smoke House

They have the best meat here at reasonable prices, they have great sandwiches and also cater. family owned business and aim to please- must try the rollie sandwich and the beef jerkey.

We have bought the tumbled turkey for Thanksgiving for the past 6 years - it's so good we can't go back to store bought. It's expensive, but for one holiday each year well worth it. Our guests now expect it - juicy/tender/delicious!

The demise of the privately owned butcher shop is almost complete. One of the hold outs is Los Gatos Meats. We usually have game animals processed there or have ducks smoked. The difference in quality from meat bought in a supermarket is unbelievable. While the prices are a bit higher, it is definitely worth it. Check out the beef jerky there as well for a treat.

This butcher shop is by the far the best around. My husband went hunting an brought home an elk. We had tried several other butcher shops and were not very happy with the results. Our friend recommended Los Gatos Meats, even though I live in Concord, it is well woth the drive. We had them make us maple breakfast sausage, italian sausage with provilone cheese mixed inside and tons of other stuff. I can't wait until my husband goes hunting again just so that I can have more of that awesome sausage.

If you want quality meat products this is the place to go, not only that, you can buy freshly BBQ'd meat sandwiches. Plus, they sell the most amazing BBQs, pellet BBQs, far superior than gas/charcoal (and funky shapes and colors too). It's a tiny shop and at lunchtime be prepared for a long wait - but it's worth it.

If you are looking for some quality meet, got to the Los Gatos Meat and Smoke House. This butcher shop has very fresh and high quality meats and sausages. You can also get marinated or smoked specialty meats. The staff is very friendly and the store is very neat. The prices are ok.
