Reviews for Spaghetti Eddie's

Ratings_icons great pasta!

this is a smaller restaurant so sometimes the service is slow, but they are usually pretty friendly. the penne a la vodka with chicken is fabulous. it is like a mix between red and white sauce. but you could pretty much get anything because it is all wonderful. the atmosphere is really nice so it would be a good place to go on a date if you want to go somewhere besides all the big chain restaurants.

Ratings_icons if you love bread then

Whenever i need my carb fix of bread, pizza or pasta I head to this place. They have great rolls while you are wating and an amazing pizza. I have also tried their chicken dishes ands those are great as well. The service is fast and easy and for a sit down place you dont have to wait that long. This is not somewhere to get a bite to eat, if you go here expect to be full and even have left overs. It looks kinda crappy on the outside but the inside is cute and homey.

PROS: great food, service and prices
CONS: location

Ratings_icons Nice, convenient catering

I've had the pleasure of ordering for two parties using Spaghetti Eddie's. '50s themed name aside, this is a pretty standard spaghetti sit-down restaurant. The food was ready on time, and securely packaged for a cramped ride back to the party location.

The utensils they provided were a little limited for an order of this size (40 people), but otherwise it was a very positive experience.

The spaghetti was a cut or two above the usual American-style spaghetti joint. This isn't authentic trattoria cuisine; it's not even Buca di Beppo, but it is quite tasty, filling stuff.

The pizza was reasonably good; I was able to get a pretty specific vegetarian pizza for some family friends without any trouble. The crust was crispy and chewy; this was a bit better than I would expect from the price point.

Worth a peek if you're in the area, but not worth trekking out from the west side or anything.

PROS: Affordable menu, good catering services.
CONS: Limited utensils to go. Decor didn't do anything for me.

Ratings_icons A Night of the Old Country in Your Very Own Neighborhood

This restaurant is seriously one of the San Gabriel Valley's best kept secrets. The food is absolutely delicious, the service is fabulous, and you can have a wonderful dining experience for a very reasonable price. The ambiance takes you home, like you are a member of the family at Sunday dinner. The stuffed mushrooms are a great start, followed with a Caesar salad and the fresh-baked bread. I am a huge fan of the Eddie's Cut lasagna, the fettucini alfredo, and calzone are just a few of my favorite dishes! You must make sure to order the spumoni ice cream at the end - what a treat! Twilight early dinner specials are a real deal!

Their Italian sauage is just like my mother still make...Very good. Another favorite is their lingiune & clams (ask for no shells).

Good selection of wines and some decent daily specials. Good Sunday brunch too...it's just a little pricey.

Good for big parties. They got a back room that could hold the entire Gambino family.

If you have to wait to long you can try Hana Haru (the little Japanese restaurant 30 feet south) it a great place for Japanese food.

Pros: Good if not great Italian food

Cons: Friday & Saturday Nights are Crowded (you may want to try take out)

Ratings_icons Dull food.

InsatiableAppetite

I've been here twice and both times sorely disappointed. The food lacks flavor and the sauces taste like they came out of a jar. Avoid the alfredo sauce. The clam linguine is edible although still a disappointment if you like to enjoy your food. On another note, our server literally said "sweet" to us at one point. As in I complimented that the wine was served at the right temperature and he replied with "sweet". It's overpriced for bad food.

Pros: Ample parking since it is in a strip mall

Cons: Food lacks flavor, service lacks professionalism, overpriced

Ratings_icons Italian???

edknuff

I'd avoid this place. Service is so so. The "Italian" food is sub-par.
The music is revolting to a true Italian. It's like going to an Irish Pub ahd the band is playing Danny Boy, or When Irish Eyes are Smiling, which are NOT Irish songs.

Pros: I'm thinking. I'm thinking...

Cons: The food and service upon ordering.

Ratings_icons Pleasant Place to Dine

dilchatahai

We ate here for the first time today, and I must say that the staff was welcoming and efficient, though we did not feel rushed. The food was good, and the decor pleasant if a bit dark.

Pros: Staff, Easy Parking, Quality Food
