I went to Babies R Us in Van Nuys , CA to exchange the car seat that i bought from there, because it was defective. And the manager of the store he is name is Luis said i can not exchange , because he thinks that nothing wrong with the car

I just got home from visiting this store and I am still shaking I am so upset. I am 8 months pregnant and I have never been treated the way I was treated today by the manager at this store. I walked in and asked one of the employees about

Babies R Us is far from our home and I made a phone call to make sure they had an item in stock (infant organic sleepsack). I called two days in a row before the product was in stock. I finally went there, on a hot summer day with my teenage daughter and infant child waiting in the car for me. I went to customer service and the woman behind the counter made very little effort in getting my item, which should have already been behind the counter, since that was what I was told. After 10-minutes and the crowd had subsided, I asked her again about my product and with a blank expression on her face, she made another phone call to have "furniture" give her a call. Nothing had been done this whole entire time. She wasn't even apologetic about anything. To add salt on the wound, they came back with my product, instead of two, they came back with one. At this point, I had been in the store for 35 minutes waiting for a product that should have only taken me five minutes to purchase. I have been a fan of Babies R Us up to this point and since June I haven't been frequenting the store like I used to. It's such a turn-off to have bad customer service like this. I spoke with a manager that evening when I got home and he was very protective about the employee and said that he knew her very well and that she probably didn't mean it. Whatever.

I used to spend hundreds of dollars there and received lots of points on my Rewards card and to this day, I'd rather not go there. I'm better off ordering online and not having to deal with them. Physical and economic damage? They've lost my loyalty and a very large bulk of my business.

We purchase literally thousands of dollars worth of baby stuff there over the years. my 2 year old was thirsty, and i got a water bottle from the cooler, when i was harrassed about purchasing it before opening it, and in such an accusatory way, the customer service there are 3rd class citizens, and they think all their customers, maybe because of the area, are also 3rd class citzens like them. do not go to this store. Suzy is not the manager, and she claimed she was. I was so beyond humiliated by these low life employees, who obviously have no training on how to work politely with the consumer who pays their paycheck so they can live their sorry lives.

I had a return and the person at the customer service wouldn' t accept it and would not give store credit. She actually took a lot of pleasure rejecting my quest!!
(I guess our white skin didn't fit in to their demographic.)
She should've issued a store credit and then she should go to a month long etiquette course.

while the neighborhood isn't really great, this store has a wide variety of baby products and brands. it's a pretty good place to do a baby registry, considering that most things you would have to register for will be there. clothing selection is much better for little girls here than for boys. customer service is almost non-existent, so be prpared to look fro things on your own.

This is a one-stop shopping center for baby items (and toddler) - everything from furniture to clothes. I highly recommend starting here for all baby needs - high chairs, car seats, strollers, bath products, pack n' plays, etc... The store carries many excellent brands and prices are usually low as well.
