.

pat has done all of our familys repair on weedeaters mowers and tractors and has great rates!!!! shops charge 70 to 80 bucks an hour (plus parts) and he does it alot cheaper!!! he also has pickup and del. service!! He has always been very flexable on his hours and days, but has asked me to not call or stop by on sundays as its his family day!!! (which is very reasonable) the equip. is always cleaned and works great when he is done working on it!! he is also great at finding hard to find parts!!

Pros: cheapest prices around

Cons: none

I wanted to support local, especially a guy starting out from his home. Took in my hedge trimmer and string trimmer for service (rebuild carb., tune up). Was charged $60 per which seemed high but if it was good work I'm happy.
Hedge trimmer had parts put back together incorrectly and it leaked gas. String trimmer would not start after he worked on it. I took both back and he fixed the hedge trimmer immediately. Left the String Trimmer (it's a commercial unit, Tenaka, cost $300). After 6 weeks I called (it was October when I left it). Got answering machine, left message (after doing this 10X over 5 weeks I stopped by the residence). He was 'sleeping' (son answered door) so I came back the following week....no one home....again left a message.
Fast forward to March---I stop by 3X over 10 days....never see anyone and leave messages. I finally 'caught' them as they (family) were leaving their home. He said he called once to tell me it was done but I'd not stopped by....he 'thought' he probably threw the equipment away because he couldn't store it over the winter. He did check and it was outside in his back yard (uncovered) and he gave it back (rusted). It still doesn't work. He said he had fixed it but the rain made it unworkable. So I'm out $60 and unfortuantley I'm only going to support business that has actual storefront in future. He said 'this is why I'm not liking the retail business....people expect you to store things for them" (yes, if you never return a call and don't have any customer focus you probably should work for someone else).

VERY FRUSTRATED IN GRANITE BAY

VERY FRUSTRATED IN GRANITE BAY

Pros: None.....I star so folks know the rating is low, low, low

Cons: Unprofessional, non competent, rude,

.

We had a horrible experience working with this man. He charged us $100 to fix our lawn mower and when we tried using it the first time after receiving it, it did not work. We took it back to him to get it reserviced and he never even touched our lawn mower for over a month. In the mean time we called him multiple times and he never answered or returned phone calls. We even called from a different number and he responded right away to that phone call, so he was obviously ignoring our phone calls. We ended up having to drive to his house to pick up our lawnmower without getting in touch with him over the phone. Luckily we caught him while he was home but he was extremly rude and insulted us. Bottom Line....his services are horrible and I'm surprised he is trying to run a business treating customers like that. STAY AWAY
