Pros: Friendly staff, well-socialized dogs, they take time to play with dogs and keep the place clean.

Cons: Stuck in a back alley (but safe!), busy (so customer service can suffer on occasion)

.

I am a small business woman, mother and dog-owner. K9to5 was the worst customer service I have ever received. First, they took weeks to return my calls. Second, you have to pay $25.00 to set up an appointment for your dog to be

Pros: customer service, friendliness

.

Cost $20 for a prescreen interview (which they don't tell you when you setup the appt but ask you to pay when you leave)

Tried to explain my dog needs and they got defensive with how they run their facility instead of listening. Got a 30min earful from the owner on how great they run their place but she didn't want to even hear about my dog.

Does not provide food for your dog.

Go to petcamp instead. Friendly service and they provide food too!

We've used K 9 to 5 for two different dogs over a 6-7 year span - the best recommendation is our dogs always came back tired and happy, and always were eager to go back to see their friends. Two large spaces, one upstairs for puppies and smaller dogs, and the big downstairs romp room for bigger dogs. Plenty of toys, climbing and playing equipment, and quiet spots for naps. Dogs are carefully prescreened and the space is viewable so owners are confident their dogs are in a playgroup that socializes well. They used to have dog walking but don't do that reguarly any more (but the dogs get plenty of excercise in the big room). Baths are available for an extra fee. Parking is limited but access is via a quiet alley convenient for doubleparking to take a dog in and out, and there is easy on/off access to the freeways and major SF streets N/S roads (3d and 4th)
