I just wanted to share my experience with Dave Wert. My brother called around looking for someone to change two of my belts on my car for labor only. We set up for today Friday May 25th and I was there first thing before they opened. I was greeted by a woman who took my name and number and key and I told her where the parts were in the car. I then went to the Denny's and had breakfast. It was around 8:15 when I left my car so around 9:40 I decided to call and see where we were and the phone was busy. I then walked down to the shop and there is where I met "Dave". I told him I was here for the Nissan and I saw that my car was on the lift. He then told me that it would be at least another hour. I said, "another hour?" and that is where he provided the best customer service and resolve I have been offered. He said, "you brought your own parts in and there was someone ahead of you and if that is a problem I can take the car down and you can take it somewhere else". I was like "really?". He was sarcastic and rude and I told him I said you don't have to be rude and he said well it's just the way it is and again stated I could take my car. I said, "you know I need this done" he said okay then and I said "Thanks" and he said "no thank you" very sarcastically. I then walked out and thought about it and felt that this first impression of what I felt is a determining factor other than good workmanship was below standard and unacceptable. I told him "Hey, Dave, I've changed my mind and want you to take my car down and I will not be getting any work done here with you." He was okay and then proceeded to take the car out of his junk yard garage and pull it into the street. I then asked him if the belts where in the car and he said yes and when I looked for them they hadn't even been taken out of the packaging. I then decided to tell him "first impressions mean everything to me and you could have had return business and he told me this " well next time he will be standing at attention". I then told him there won't be a next time and F**k You! Now this might not seem important to some, but let me tell you I did not deserve this screw you attitude from the moment I spoke to him and the disregard for business. I guess I was lucky that he was such an A**hole because then I wouldn't have given "Dave"my hard earned money and the way he treated me I guess he isn't suffering too much in these hard economic times.
