.

After a nice lunch at Left Bank, 3 guys decided to venture off to SSJ to get a nice bowl of Pho. I was still a bit hungover so this was great. A friend recommended this place but when I saw the name I felt the need to log into yelp in their parking lot. Reviews... so so..... oh wells can't be that bad right?

We decided to sit outside since it was a warm day and there didn't seem to be A/C inside. Let me break it down.....

- bad service, had to flag down the guy plenty of times, missing & dirty utensils, plates, not even a napkin at our table or any other table outside
- pho was mediocre ...figured with a name like "Bang" I should be pleasantly surprised....absolutely dissapointed
- ordered a grass jelly drink.... took one sip and that was it. =T
- basil, sprouts were wilted
- boring spring and fried imperial rolls.

Oh I forgot to mention our battle with the flies for the entire duration of our most delightful meal....I actually love eating at hole in the wall places, but this was just too much especially when it doesn't satisfy my tummy.

Eat there at your own risk, you've been warn.

The pho is not that great but one bowl of pho will feed three people. The service is very slow and the parking lot is small. Price is decent, not too expensive.

I occasionally go to this place, but i don't think it's the best. The place isn't lit very well and the servings are quite small. The food quality is okay, but you can find better in San Jose.

A friend of mine took me for lunch to this restaurant. The soup was great. I took my husband once, and he liked it. We've been customer for at least 4 years now. Great food, quick seating & service, reasonable price, what else do you need? I tried many different kind of things from the menu and they tasted great. They start to open until after midnight (except Monday). Please note: if you come on the Chinese New Year, they might only serve the soup.

The parking lot can be crowded at times but the Pho is worth it. Every bowl has the rich broth that is impossible to make at home. The noodles are cooked just right and the broth is everything you expect and more. Pho bowls go for around $5-$6 dollars a bowl.
