Mike, the owner, has been known to raise the prices of his services based on previous visits. Be careful what you tell him, he likes gossip.

I recently had to get a job done for a very difficult customer and needed several items in a major hurry. After a nightmare of a time with another supply house, I went to see the guys at Central City. I dealt with Matt. He was very helpful to say the least. Two of the items I needed were not available from the manufacturer. Matt called around to other dealers, located the items I needed and got them overnighted for us. His hard work saved our job and made us look like the heroes. I just wanted to say thank you to Matt for a job well done.

The staff was very helpful and steered in the right direction. I was doing a job that I didn't have much experience with and Mike showed me the right tools to get the job done! Thanks and I will highly recommend this store to anybody in need of advice. They also do saw blade sharpening on site and I was very satisfied with the sharpening!

I have been a customer with Central City Tool Supply since they opened. I have watched them grow into a great tool store. Always eager to help me and quick to repair my tools. Mike even did an easy fix on my drill and didn't even charge me.

A great local, family owned business!

We have been a customer of Central City Tool since they have first opened; Mike, Debbie and their staff have always been very helpful and knowledgeable. Anytime we needed a tool that they did not have in stock they were happy to order it for us, and always at very competitive prices. Their saw sharpening service is great. They have quick turn around and they will even pick up and deliver the blades; the quality of the sharpening is excellent. Overall a wonderful business, and we would highly recommend them.

My Two experiences with this store were bad ones. Recently, I just needed a simple part to fix a tool and I would've been happy to order it through Central City Tool Supply. Over the phone the owner assured me that he would supply me with what I needed to get the job done instead of ordering the factory part. When I arrived to the store, I showed the owner the task that needed to be done (the same task that I described to him over the phone). He sold me the part and I left to install the part. When I began to install the part, it became obvious that more parts were necessary. I went back into the store to discuss it with him and he treated me like it was my fault that I wasn't more specific and proceeded to make me buy the other parts ($1.07) necessary to do the job. He told me I should've just had them fix the tool for me and that I don't know what I'm doing. Ummmm, i'm an electrician..... I'm pretty sure I can replace a tool's power cord if I have the right cord. Anyway, after dealing with his bad attitude and condescending words, I decided that other people should be made aware of this guy so that they can know what they're getting into ahead of time.

My advice is to avoid this place and go to JP Tool Repair in San Luis instead.

Pros: Local

Cons: Expensive, The Male Owner is Rude and Unprofessional
