Had my car towed here after blowing a coolant hose. 2 people in the waiting room were there for a second repair after this place worked on their cars. One guy told me his gauges stopped working after they worked on his truck. I thought my car just needs a hose, what can go wrong?

When they printed out my invoice, they slid it in front of me and askd me to sign. They avoided talking about the amount, and kept his hand on top of the total. I didn't mind since I knew they had to remove a lot of parts to get to that hose. The total bill was in the three digit range and in hindsight, too high, but I was just glad to have my car back. The hose was in a hard to reach place and they had to take the intake manifold off and they were AAA-approved so I didn't mind.

As I pull away my check engine light turns on and my car sputters. I drive back there and say "It's not running right" so they keep it another day. I come pick it up again the next day and they say "It's fine, nothing's wrong." I don't think they even looked at my car and just drove it around the block.

The same thing happens. I take it back and insist they pull the code for the engine light. They said "We aren't responsible for that, we'll have to charge you an $80 diagnostic fee." I pulled the code myself. Turns out they didn't plug one of the sensors on the intake manifold in properly and it was causing the sputtering. I did not want to deal with them anymore so I never followed

I don't think they were trying to scam me, even though they avoided talking about the bill wanted to charge me for a second diagnosis. Shops run long hours and small margins. In this case, I think they are simply too busy, inattentive, don't pay attention to detail and don't try. They just want to be paid, and get you out the door as soon as possible.

Unless you have a personal relationship with one of the mechanics, I do not recommend this place, not even for an oil change.

Pros: Clean waiting room and mechanics bays

Cons: They don't do things right the first time and don't seem keen on helping. There's a reason why they're fast at fixing something.
