5 Stars: The Best Sushi Ever (by Rebecca B.)

I can't say enough good things about Mikuni's. I've been to the Roseville and Elk Grove locations, and both have consistently great sushi in a fun environment. I never liked sushi until I ate at Mikuni's. What sets their sushi apart is the sauces - they are delicious! Look for the (S) after the name of the roll on the menu. The tables are rather close together in the Roseville location, but much more spacious in Elk Grove.

PROS: World Class Sushi
CONS: Can get crowded

5 Stars: One of the best in town (by John B.)

Mikuni is probably one of the best Japanese restaurants in town. The selection is great and the food is even better. They have some unique items that make this place special.

PROS: food
CONS: none

4 Stars: Good But Expected More (by khanh n.)

Anyone who lives in the Fair Oaks and surrounding areas, knows about Mikuni's. If you want sushi, then this is the place everyone recommends. The pricing and sizes are decent, but for all the hype, I was expecting world class sushi. You do get the good atmosphere and a fine dining experience. You won't be disappointed, but don't expect anything more then just a good sushi bar.

5 Stars: The best sushi I have ever had! (by Genny K.)

The only downside is the hour plus wait to be seated, even on a weeknight! The Fair Oaks rolls are amazing, but I've never had a meal here that I didn't enjoy. Sushi is available "to go" if you want to cut down on your wait time. Prices are moderate and it's very "kid friendly" (read, noisy).
