Ramen Halu

Every time that I've gone, there's a wait, so I only go when I'm not in hurry. The noodle is good but a little more meat would be good - and this is me saying as someone who doesn't eat a lot of meat. I feel like there's more noodle than anything else, but otherwise, the ramen is delicious. You can ask them to make it more salty, less salty, etc.

This is one of my girlfriend's favorite places to eat so I met her here for lunch once. It is a small restaurant in a strip mall that has only a few tables, and you may even have to share a table with other people. On busy lunch days, you may have to wait for a while to be seated, and I guess it's a testament to how good this place is that there was a line of people waiting to eat here. I have to qualify my review by saying that I'm not really a ramen connoisseur and I don't know how good ramen is supposed to taste, but I did enjoy the dish that I had here. Although it was a little on the salty side, the noodles were yummy and I will definitely eat here again.

I find this ramen place packed during lunch time. Most customers are japanese! Most of my friends like it but I find it a bit too salty. However, real japanese ramen are cooked that way. They serve with you rice so that you can eat it as well. (yes, ramen + rice at the same time). If you don't mind the salty taste, I really recommend you to try. Price is decent and the location is easy to find. The only bad thing is that the restaurant is small so you mightneed to wait for a while for your seat.

I'm a fan of ramen and I eat ramen every week. It may not be the best ramen I've ever tried but it is good. The soup has its own unique flavor and you can see that they must take a long time to ccok it. The noodle is ok and it would be better if they put more pork. Their service id good and think it is worth a try.

The Owner is a die-heart ramen lover, he created his own Halu Ramen, which has a very unique soup base. As described on the menu, the soup base requires hours and hours of cooking, which you can tell when you take a sip of the soup, it's very thick and comes with different variety of vege and 2-slices of pork. Halu Ramen may not strike you in flavor, but its uniqueness in its cooking will. If you are a ramen lover, Halu Ramen is worthy for tasting.

I am a sucker for ramen noodle soup. When I first heard the idea of going to a ramen house many years ago, I thought, "What is the big deal? I can boil up some instant ramen in 3 minutes!" But, soon, I learned my error in judgement. Getting fresh ramen from a specialty restaurant makes all the difference in the world. It doesn't taste even close to what instant ramen tastes like. It feels much healthier and is absolutely delicious. The wait staff is small and it can get so busy that its overwhelming. I think they should hire more people

Ramen is one of my favorite meals. So this place was on our list of places to check out. Not recommended. First it was expensive. This is noodles after all. The soup was bland and not that thrilling and they seemed to be attempting to make it an upscale ramen house, I assume to justify the high prices. Again, this is noodles.

Joining us was a person on the atkin's diet. I assumed there would be things on the menu besides noodles in order to accomidate people like him or diabetics. Not much. There was a side dish of pork and it was just that. The pork they put in the noodles thinly sliced and on a plate for like 5-6 dollars.

Just not worth it in my mind.

Their ramen is very fresh, the soup is flavorful but not heavy, and the bowls are nicely sized. Chicken salad was ok there. it was canned chicken with salad. Best ramen in the bay is Ryowa

So you've probably never heard of this place. It's situated right off of 280 and Saratoga Avenue. It's in a small plaza and you'd probably pass it buy if you were not loking for it.

The ramen broth used here is very rich and flavorful. It's not your usual flat tasting, non-oil, water-downed ramen broth. There is usually not a wait at this place since it seems to be an undiscovered gem by many. Maybe after this review, there will be waits outside the door.

The place is not very big, but the service is excellent. Halu is a style of Ramen that I have not had anywhere else. you can read about Halu Ramen when you take a look at their menu there. If you love ramen, you should give this place a try.
