Great food, wonderful atmosphere, very good service, and the green goddess dressing was to die for. Many happy memories going there with my family.

My sourdough meltie with bacon, avocado etc. was yummy to say the least. My puppy was having an exam across the street and so we walked to Billingsley's. \r

Pam was an exceptionally sweet waitress and yes the drinks are strong!

Three friends and I went to Billingsley's on Saturday night. 09/12/2009. It was the first time that three of us have been there. Yes, the building is old, and yes, the atmosphere and decor reminds me of the 1960's and the clientele tended to be on the older side. However, the experience we had was enjoyable. The restaurant reminds me of a place that you would go and see old time television and movie stars hiding away to enjoy their meals away from the public eye. We went for the early bird specials 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. I ordered the Prime Rib for $18.95, which included cheese bread, soup ( two soups to choose from, or a bowl of chili), or salad with your choice of dressings, baked potato with all the accompaniments and vegetables. Oh, and I cannot forget that desert is also included! I asked for Prime Rib and requested it to be medium rare and I got medium rare and it was delicious. My friends and I all chose the Green Goddess dressing on our salads. I don't know of any restaurant that even serves Green Goddess anymore. It was really tasty! Our server was entertaining, very pleasant and most accommodating. When asking her for extra items she was there in no time filling our request. My friends and I were all happily satisfied with our meals. Would I go back again? YES indeed! It's a good value and great food! Oh, and by the way, the Martinis are tasty too! :-).The only thing that was missing was June Cleaver in one of her high fashion day dresses with an apron on.

Thank you Billingsley's for a great evening!

Many years ago, When Beaver's Mom (Barbara Billingsley) owned it, Billingsley's Restaurant was very good for food or drinks. Now it is just old and slow, with mediocre food. My folks, in their late 80's and mid 90's, don't even like it any more. Too bad, it was great.

I've been coming here for about 15 years, since I was a kid, going with my grandparents. They have the best fried shrimp and it always goes good with french fries. The most unique thing about the restaraunt has got to be the Green Goddess

It's like the restaurants my grandparents would take us on Sundays after church. When we need some old-fashioned martinis, liver and onions, or yankee pot-roast and potatoes, this is where we head!

This is a great place to go and kick back, relax and enjoy all kinds of food. Every dish seems to be one that will stick to your ribs, warm you up and make you relax. The cozy atmoshpere is more of the 70's basement with all the panelling

Here's a simple, down home, straighforward, nothing fancy place for good food and value. But you's expect nothing less from the sons of Leave It To Beaver's Mom Barbara BILLINGSLEY. I dined with a busy exec who was relieved to find a place

I was looking for a great piece of beef with hometown supper club atmosphere. This is extremely difficult to find in Los Angeles. But I found it!! And only 2 miles from my house. No frills, no hype, just good food with great service.

The atmosphere is totally 1950's, which is very cool. This might be a good spot for a romantic dinner. Note though, most of the patrons here are older...you won't feel out of place or anything, but just something to know ahead of time,

This place is great if you are over 70 and looking for an early bird special... The food is overcooked and too salty. The place has no windows, so it's always dark in there. The service was OK.
