The food is okay but the service and atmosphere is horrible. I wouldn't be surprised if a cockroach tried to mug me after eating there. Seriously, I don't see how these people can justify charging around $12 a plate.

When we walked in the service started out bad but got better quickly. The atmosphere is bad. The restaurant as an awkward layout and is really cramped. The restaurant is extremely dirty. The floor looked like it had never been cleaned.
Then came the food. It was terrible! There were three in my party and each dish was hardly eatable. Each of us took home at least half of our plate, but none of us had the guts to eat the leftovers. All of the food was either swimming in grease, burnt, or dry.
To make matters worse, the bill came out to be very high (what I would expect to pay for a fine dining restaurant, not a hole in the wall).

Oscars has the best fish tacos, and inexpensive, too. The vegetable burrito is sumptuous and filled to the max. I could split it with my husband if he didn't want his own!

I was pleasantly surprised to find this place, I don't know what took me so long, it is right around the block from my house.I was elated to find the word "Vegan" on the menu. There were various Vegan/Vegetarian items, and I had a hard deciding what to order.I decided on the Vegan platter, which was grilled tofu and various veggies with black beans and rice. It was awesome, and not greasy, like I was expecting. It also came with homemade corn tortillas. These were fabulous! A must have!Their guacamole was mediocre, but I still ate 2 servings. The margaritas were average. My husband had the veggie tacos, and was also very pleased. We were both shocked when the bill came, I re-added it up to make sure. I was positive it would have been $10-15 MORE than it was.Amazing food, for a very reasonable price. We will definitely be back.

Nice people running the place. Food is average to above average. Staff is forgetful sometimes (menus, silverware, etc.).

This is a nice mexican restaurant. They serve a large variety of entrees from traditional mexican to healthy mexican. Their food is always great but it can be a little pricy for the atmosphere.
