A few months ago, I went there for karaoke and accidentally dropped a roll of cash (about $300) on my way out of the bathroom, which I did not notice until a few minutes later. My friend, who had been waiting in the bar for me, went to the bathroom immediately after I did. As she was going into the bathroom, she observed a security guard picking some money up off the floor.

He asked my friend if she had lost the cash, and she said no (unaware of my situation). Then she observed the security guard asking another employee (a kitchen worker) if he lost some, and he said yes (big surprise!), and the guard gave him the cash.

Later on that evening, when I noticed that the cash was missing, I mentioned it to my friend, who told me what she had observed in the hallway earlier. When I confronted the security guard about the situation, he said I should talk to the night manager. The night manager told me that the kitchen worker said that he had lost a small roll of $1 bills, and the security guard had given it back to him.

Now, I understand most people think finders keepers is fine, but when it's obvious who it belongs to, it's no longer finders keepers. It's theft. And think about it....what are the odds of two people losing money at exactly the same time in exactly the same place? NOT LIKELY.

Ticked off, I called the next day and talked to the general manager, and he basically said the same thing. Later, I did a little snooping and figured out what happened.

Apparently, the kitchen worker had just lost a family member in Mexico, was low on cash, and everybody felt sorry for him. So either the security guard, night manager, general manager, or all of them conspired to help the kitchen worker keep my $300, or the kitchen worker lied and told them that it was only a few ones in the roll.

Either way, I was ripped off by this establishment, and if you are thinking of going there, you should know what kind of people work there.

I really enjoy Zodo's, whether I'm taking my kids for some casual bowling, or hanging out with friends with a cold beer and a 14 pounder ready to roll. The atmosphere, staff, food, and drinks are all great. Remembering the days of "Orchid Bowl" and the "Galleon Room" it's almost hard to believe it's the same building! ...actually, the Galleon had its charms, but I much prefer the current version.

If I were to nitpick, my complaints would be that the lanes are often fully occupied by leagues, making it difficult for the more casual bowler to get into the sport...also, it's not unusual to find 50% or more of the games at the arcade with "Out of Order" signs, which is tragic when I'm with my kids because they love to drop $10 worth of tokens in those silly games so that they can get enough tickets for $1.50 worth of candy. So, actually, maybe it's a blessing that the arcade is in disrepair.

The bowling area is a lot of fun - but the bar is pretty uptight about their wristband policy. If you don't get one (even if the bartender doesn't tell you about the policy for your first drink) - they will kick you out and call the cops if you complain.

this bowling alley is open 24hours. of course the bars closes at a certain time, but if you are bored and up late, you and your friends can go bowl. and living in santa barbara we did this often. on some nights they even have a dj playing and blacklight bowling.

It really is the bowling alley and beyond. Large bar with several plasma tvs. Happy hour twice a day; early evening and late night to close. Drink specials during every NFL game and good food to accompany good drinks. Largest bowling alley in the area.

PROS: Great bar, good food. Several lanes.
CONS: Lots of league nights, gets busy long wait even with lots of lanes.

Zodos is an awesome place to go bowl or just hang out with friends. Its a real kick back place to just hang out and bowl. Everytime ive gone there they have music and everyone seems to have a great time. Thier pricing is the same as other bowling alleys around. Its a nice place to relax and do some bowling

Zodos is a really cool place to hang out with your friends. There's always parking spaces available on the lot. When you get in, sometimes they turns off the light and so it looks like a nightclub, which looks very cool. They also have bars that serve alcoholic beverages, and fast food so you can eat something whenever you're hungry. They provide shoes and socks, and people who works there are very friendly

Zodo's is great! The remodel they did to the bowling alley is amazing. They have a huge beer selection on tap, decent food and fun for the entire family. They have tons of stuff to keep the kids entertained too including video games! You can guarantee a fun time every time you go there!
