great staff, great sandwiches, not the best coffee I've had...Thousand Times better than Subway next door!!!!

And if this freaking web site would post the short reviews it would be even better.

i didn't really like their coffee, but i still want to go back to try the tea. there were so many people in line and the employees helped each one efficiently and with a smile. this location is conveniently located next to Noah's bagels. i would definitely go back again. great place to stop on lake avenue

These guys brew their coffee every 30 min. whether or not the pot is empty just to keep the coffee they serve to the customers fresh. I don't know many places that do that and their coffees are exceptional. They have a great selection of teas as well and if you are looking for a great cup of coffee, this is the place to go.

I drink the staight, black, brewed coffee. Peets is by far the consistenly best roast. The stores (Lake & east Foothill) are nice and accessible. The crew are knowledgeble if occasionally slow.
And you get a free cup o' joe when you buy some beans. The Lake Ave store is on a congested block (down at Calif. near Cal Tech) which is a pain. It was nice to see them build on Foothill (Ralph's plaza near Panda Inn).

PROS: coffee lover's best brews
CONS: stores are few and far between

This is my favorite coffee shop in Pasadena. I love going here on the weekends in the morning - especially on a nice day. The coffee is excellent, you can purchase bagels next door, and there is a beautiful outside area with tables and grass to sit and enjoy your coffee. It does get fairly busy but it is well worth it.

This the best coffee and tea around! Great selection and even better taste! I don't drink coffee but I love their speciality tea; masala chai, which is mix of black teas boiled in water and milk. It is a great substitute for coffee. This is certainly THE coffee house to visit!

In my opinion, Peet's makes the best coffee! The service is friendly and there is always some coffee accessory I want to take home.

Peet's has the best selection of coffee and teas in the world. When I need an extra boost in the morning, I order a red-eye which is a shot of expresso in my coffee. They also sell a variety of tea & coffee paraphenelia. On a nice day, you can sit outside on the patio and some people bring their dogs. It's very relaxing.
