Having grown up locally, I always ate "Forks Burgers". They are extremely well made and delicious. Staff is always nice. The downside would be the wait during the busy summer months.

The forks resort doesn't call their burgers world famous on a whim, these are the best burgers in the Fresno area. They are big and juicy with lots of flavor. In addition to their burgers they have a wonder array of food and drink to meet any taste buds. Its a great place to drive over to when on the lake for a quick lunch or even an afternoon ice cream sundae which is my kids favorite. Their general store has lots of items as well that are priced reasonably.

I dream all year about camping at the Forks and having lunch and dinner in the restaurant at the Forks resort. They are famous for their cheeseburger and its no wonder. The burger is amazing! The workers are always friendly, and we see many of them season after season. Be sure to check out the old sign that moves and shows water falls! They have a great store and convenient boat rentals. We love you guys! Keep up the good work.

The restaurant is open seasonally from late March to early October. Area locals (with Fork's Burger addictions: P ) have these dates circled in bright red on their calendars! The amount of families that return year after year for generations is mind boggling. The owner's have tried to keep the 'old-time' burger and a (real ice cream) shake atmosphere. Many of their employees have been with them 15 to 20 + years.....that does say something for any establishment!

Wanted to say, the Restaurant doesn't take reservations. 1st come 1st serve. They do their best to seat large parties, but you may be separated; usually kids at the counter and parents at a table....a nice break for weary parents though!! Mid-summer can also mean an hour or more wait for a table. Hint: arrive between 3 and 5 pm (usually no waiting list) for faster seating.

Pros: fast, real milkshakes, fun

Cons: small(seats 65), open Mar. to Oct., long waiting list

I think the forks burger is better than any hamburger place I have ever been to. My family has been eating there for generations and I can't wait to taste that large juicy thick hamburger made to perfection. The Forks is definitely the highlight of our family vacation
