Domaine Carneros

On a vacation to Napa we toured a lot of the wineries. Domaine was nice and the wine was good, but there are others that I feel were better in the area. Van Suttui (sp?), who isn't on this list, was our favorite. Sterling, with the ride up on the gondola, was beautiful!

PROS: Nice wine!
CONS: If you're looking for a tour... there are better ones out there.

If there were higher than 5 stars Domaine Carneros would get 6-10. I really enjoy this winery. Their Famous Gate Pinot Noir is only sold at the winery and is amazing to say the least. They are a big Champagne house (Tattinger). If you make it there be sure to take the tour, it is interesting to hear and see how the Champagne is made. Beautiful terrace area to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. Great stop if you are in the wine country!
