Best Mexican food in the valley! Amazing carne asada, free fried chips when you come in. Friendly and helpful staff. I eat here always when i want Mexican food. The chicken Cesar salad is really fine also!

I went there on a friend's approval. I wasn't impressed. The host was stressed out over his seating chart (on a slow Monday night?) and we were given the unimpressive choice of a two seater table squashed against a divider wall. I asked if we could have a booth, he said no they are reserved. I turned to walk out to leave to go to all the other restaurant choices available to me on the strip and all of a sudden those booths were available to me, hmmm. The food wasn't anything interesting. The service was UNBELIEVABLY SLOOWWWWWW. I don't even want to imagine how much slower it could be if it was actually a busy night. The only interesting part was the decor. I wouldn't go back if it was free. Casa Vega is so much better in atmosphere, food, service, fun.

Went there twice. Food is "good" to "ok" but essentially unoffensive and somewhat unspectacular mexican fare. Quesadilla appetizers stood out taste wise but are very small. Our drinks were weak and my mojito was WAY too sweet (almost sticky sweet). The place gets VERY noisy when it's packed. So why go back? The hot chocolate is fantastic, the crowd is young and pretty (if you care about that kind of thing) and occasionally star studded (so I was told).
Senor Fred is ok but there are probably other "casual mexican" places i'd rather frequent.

Great atmosphere - dimly lit, cozy booths, but a little noisy when busy. Not too expensive. Good food (guacamole and quesadillas are great appetizers) and tasty margaritas.

Really dark and cozy spanish/mexican bar and restaurant on Ventura Blvd. Posh exterior and interior. Good service, creative food, lounge area, patio seating as well. Pretty cool place!
